I am looking for a GOOD source for a Max Wedge fiberglass bolt on hood scoop. The prices I find vary widely and I wonder about the quality. Also, I would like to see the underside of a Max Wedge hood to determine what kind of cut out it might require. Two holes over the carbs or one big one. Is there a template anywhere? By the way, this is for a 1964 Plymouth Savoy.

Thanks, Rev. Mopar

Talk to Larry at Sled city fiberglass. He can definitely help you. Good luck

you don't really need a template for the holes , take a 1/4 in threaded rod , grind one end to a point and thead into carb , slowly lower hood , make a dimple in bottom of hood, repeat with other carb, this is the most acturate way of doing it, take a protractor or the like and cut holes the size you need and your done.
