Not necessarily opposed to Snake Oyl but I had them do my GTX seat belts a number of years ago and wasn't too happy with the buckle chrome work. They didn't make any effort to sand/polish out minor pitting before chroming. Plus they are fairly expensive. Any other outfits that might be a better choice?

Thanks for the tips.

I used Sharon Clifton at Sharon's Web several years back. Nice work and fairly quick turnaround. I believe she may have worked for "Snake Oyl" previous to starting her own business. Not cheap, but she was more affordable than Snake Oyl at the time.

Allmoparseatbelts. Com in Washington does a really nice job.
Just purchased a set from him, great stuff no doubt. Only issue I had was it took him 3 weeks to get me a tracking number. Come to find out he never shipped them. In the end I got a great set though after the initial delay.

I also used Bill for the belts in my 69 GTX. I would use him again

I used Bill Edwards at allmoparsseatbelts.com after I searched on this website last year. I sent him my old seatbelts and buckles. He received mine and I waited 2 months before I called him to ask what the progress was. In He claims to have sent them to me (Florida) but can't find the tracking number(sounds like 69 Hemibee above). He claims he went to the post office and they have found the tracking number but can't find my seatbelts. He called me this past Friday and said if the post office doesn't find them , he will make me another set. I have gold seatbelts in my 67 Charger. I sure hope the seatbelts show up soon. I will post the final outcome.

When I asked about my set he said he mailed 7 sets out to customers and they all were lost (I never got tracking). I'm sure anyone's patience would be tested. What is more confusing is he continued to mail sets out using USPS after they lost the previous sets, including my second set.

For anyone who mails a lot of parts, create a Fedex account (free) and you get better rates. The more items uou ship the bigger the discount is. I have found that they are more reliable and their tracking is way better.

I have also used Sharon's Web to restore several sets of seatbelts. All of them have been excellent / high quality.
In my opinion her stitching style & pattern is more correct looking to factory originals than other belts.

In fact the set of Blue seatbelts for 70 Challenger convertible shown on her website are mine. On this set I purchased the labels from ECS and had Sharon sew them onto the belts using the originals for placement.

What bothers me is I sent him my original seat belts, is that also what you did?

I tried to clean my belt webbing, I guess I should have tried harder and had my buckles polished locally. I am concerened that I will never get them or the belts that Bill said he made for me. Not to mention to be out $399.00

I have not had any response from Bill and he has my original seatbelts. I have asked him to return them to me. No response. I think I may have to call the local police department or states attorney to report him for being a fraud.

Give his wife a call first, I was able to get her number from their website, that's what I had to do. He stopped returning my email and once I touched base with her I received a call the following day from Bill.

Sorry to hear of your problems with Getting your seat belts back. Hopefully things will get resolved quickly.

Thanks for the advise, I will try speaking with his wife but this should not be the way any business is run. I am in the service business for 42 years and have never treated a customer the way he is. I am realley fed up with him.
