What's a good place to get quality electrical switches, relays and such.

I need to redo my wiring. I'm not looking for resto stuff, just heavy duty parts that will hold up on a race car.

The Brilman company has quality parts.

Mad Enterprises

use to carry lots of electrical car-related electronics stuff
the guy (owner Mark IIRC) likes to talk too, he also knows MoPars

I had bought stuff from him/them in the past
but not for a while now

Painless or Ron Francis
if you don't care about originality, just want a modern quailty product

M&H Electrical, sold thru Year One unfortunately

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Almost forgot, Weatherpack connectors.

I was thinking of putting weather pack connectors on my components.
How hard are they to install?

They are pretty easy. The seals are sized for different diameter wires, and the pins/plugs also come in different sizes for wire gauge. Physically, they are a bit larger than some of the other common connector types. Good for 20 Amps.

Metripack is sort of like the weather pack, there are different series, but the 280 series (30 Amps). They are usually a bit smaller than the weather pack connectors.
The 150 series is for 20-16 AWG wire (or smaller 22-20 AWG), and 14 amps. The metripack type are also the same connector system that attaches to sensors and such on newer cars.

Deutsch are usually a bit more compact for multi-pin connectors. They usually are more expensive than the other connectors, and may require a special crimper, so I haven't used many of these.

I use Tyco, Metri Pak, Deutsch, Molex, and Weather Pack at work.
Deutsch & Tyco have the wire seals in the connector so you don't need to install them on the wires. They both use similar terminals, and are easier to service.
Molex can need special crimpers and can be a bear to service, needing special removal tools.
If it were just a matter of size & serviceability, I'd pick Tyco. They have a barrel terminal that takes a special crimper, but they also make a stamped one that you can crimp with ordinary crimpers. Easy to service, no extra secondary locks or seals to buy.
