Anyone have any tips or tricks on getting the radiator to move in front of the core support? What modifications or radiator did you use to make it less painful?

I only have around 4" of space between the core support and the blower belt. I was going to run a 3 core double pass radiator from US radiator with a single or dual pusher fan, however, I was told from a local speed shop that it doesn't move enough air for us down here in El Paso, Texas.

Thoughts? (Motor is a 440 with an 8-71. I will be running a hood as well!)

I squeezed a Cold Case 26 inch with a dual puller fan in my 69 Hemi Charger. Does the blower belt stick past the water pump snout?

I saved this photo of a members car from here but don't remember who and don't have the details, but I'm in the same predicament as you with no room, especially with the '65 engine location.
Any way here's the photo

Awesome starting point. I'm going to run into one big issue, which is the brace running from the lower radiator support and the bracket for the hood latch release.

I'm currently trying to solve our heat problem and thought about going in front like you, had a double pass Afco with about every fan configuration you can think of, but pushing due to lack off room, finally put a Flex-A-Lite 15-inch Black Magic Xtreme S-Blade reversible electric fan rated at 3,300 cfm and as long as your moving it's fine, but when stopped it starts to creep up.
So now I'm trying a Northern triple pass that keeps our 500" cross ram Hemi cool with the normal 2 fan puller setup
I had to space the radiator even closer to the pulleys to make room for the big fan and shroud, but this is how the Afco was also.
We have a 41' Willy's with a 632" Chevy with a TINY Northern 3 pass that cycles the fans on and off between 160 and 180, so HOPEFULLY this is the final cure!

Cold Case says their 2 row will cool better than a three row.

How far is your blower belt past your water pump snout?

Here is a photo of what fits on mine. Being you have a charger I thought I could help.

Jeff, are you running a 3” or 2.5” belt?
It's only 2"
I'm sure I could gain by getting a new snout, pulley setup ($$$$) but again, I'm also fighting the 62-65 mounting position.
here's a pic of the pulleys, like I said, there's wasted space here!

Here's a few of the measurements I'm working with...

Yes sir, tape goes to the timing cover. Mainly just to show the distance from each relative part.
I will try to measure what I have and get back to you. I also have another idea I will run by you then.

fyi, for those that have a little time........We are in the process of making a full radiator support radiator kit. The main support are is moved forward about 1" to make extra clearance. The way the fans are mounted to the shroud, that frees up another 1"+. We've already released similar models for the TriFive Chevy and 1st Gen Camaro. The B body Mopar is already designed and patterned. We just need to put it in production. Preliminary estimate is June/July.

I am at 6 inches from my cover to the furthest point out which is the water pump. So it looks like you need 2 more inches. To me it looks like sectioning the core support and moving it fore ward 2 inches and a custom radiator with a low profile double suction fan/shroud.
