Last order from theses a-holes. They lost 2 sales for over a grand for their ignorance.

Hmmm....I've had really good dealings with them..even sent out replacement peices almost a year after purchase, totally understood that sometimes parts are ordered well in advance and may not be installed for some time. That's my experience at least.

I spent a lot of money with them. Thousands of dollars. Last order a quarter window hardware roller kit has the wrong parts. I have two customer tickets one 2-12 and 2-21 still no response. I ordered what I need from another vendor and they are right and installed in the car. I placed about 2 grand worth of orders from AMD and mega parts. All orders they could of had. Its only 90 bucks but it is a matter of principal. They suck period.

I have placed many orders with them and I've been treated pretty well. However, your comment certainly applies to a lot of other businesses I've recently dealt with. Once they have your money, they don't want you to bother them.

I’ve ordered a very few items from them to be shipped, and had no issues. I’ve gone to their store/warehouse to pick up orders, and they gave me a cracked item. I checked it before leaving, and they replaced it. What I don’t like is the shipping and handling costs even for 20 miles is crazy, and that I can’t buy something online and then have my sister pick it up for me (she works in Huntington Beach). She has to buy it herself for me. I like their catalogs for a price and item guide.

I'm done with Year One as well but. Read this post twice and still don't know who you're talking about.

Missed the small print. Was still on my first coffee

Ah, dropshippers...
What is a dropshipper, you ask?
Definition (copied from online dictionary):
"Dropshipping is a retail fulfillment method where a store doesn’t keep the products it sells in stock.
Instead, when a store sells a product using the dropshipping model, it purchases the item from a
third party and has it shipped directly to the customer.
As a result, the seller doesn’t have to handle the product directly."

As a general rule, I don't do business with dropshippers. I want whoever I buy from to have the item
in hand in their inventory when I order it, therefore I'm only dealing with one packer/shipper.

I dont buy from them anymore either. They still send catalogs with their overpriced Vachina crap. Yes their customer service sucks. I try to buy from vendors on this site.

I ordered a couple of patch panels in February of last year and didn't get them until September. When they didn't show up after several days I called and they told me they were on back order. I told her they shouldn't show them as in stock and should have reached out to me about it. And then when I got them one had been opened and had been stapled closed and the structural back piece was missing from it. I called them and the woman that answered said "it doesn't surprise me" and told me they would send me another one, which I had in like a week.

I rarely use Summit anymore due to all the original cars but they have been the most consistent vendor I have ever dealt with period. The shipping is lightening fast and it looks like they are starting to carry more "original" type parts as of late. Maybe they will buy out Classic soon!

Summit has always been great for me. Classic will never see another dime.

Their getting just like Year One who I have not ordered a thing from in over 15 years.
