need help ... what do you think about this Roadrunner?

Like others have said, be very careful. Make sure it's a Road Runner, not a tarted up Fury. Check for rust, missing interior bits which might be hard to find, and under the hood. A 360 stroker, lower the T bars and lose the headlight covers, you'd have something cool. Overpriced for a 318 car. Shock extensions are a broken stud or mount waiting to happen.

Have to agree with the comments to verify that it's not a Fury all gussied up to look like a Runner. It's a 318 car which is molasses with all of the emissions crap on it and those extensions on the rear shocks scare the hell out of me, and yes I think it is over priced. Maybe 15 - 19k all day.

After seeing the rest of the pictures I would change my opinion to no. That's a pig wrapped up in a silk scarf. If you don't look past, or deeper than, the paint and seats & clean engine bay, it's okay. But once you get under and into it you can see it's clapped out. Look for an example from the West or South West that has NOT been soaking up salt and moisture for decades. You may pay the same, but it wont need as much work.

I'm looking for a 75 or 76 Fury and this Road Runner is based on the 75 Fury.
this Road Runner would be a good alternative to the Fury.

Thank you very much for sharing your opinion.
I'll call the seller and make an offer.

I know you wanted a Fury, but you could also consider a 1976 Charger Sport. It was based on the Fury, not the Cordoba like regular Chargers of that year.

People buy mid to late 70's Mopar becasue they were raised up with one, or just love the body style or want a good driving Mopar for CHEAP!! . But the guy that are into these Malasie cars know the market and will tell you which models will and can maybe bring the $ IF pristine. Like Volare Super Coupe T top cars maybe etc.

Why do they spell it "roadrunner" then on the car itself ?? Factory correct. Small letters?? On the Chargers it's spelled with the capitol letter.

So why do we insist on Road Runner? Not stirring the pot just when KD mentioned it I thought why then?

Oh by the way nice old bird for sure. Not factory shock mount that's for sure. Nice to see that back bumper intact. And yes way over priced. ymmv

Ah! So the debate begins! lol

I hear you Wayne. But as you illustrated Wayne small letters. Same with my picture. Two words/small letters.

I assumed it was in lower case for legal reasons (not a proper name) before the deal with Warner Bros and then afterwards it just stuck

I should have used the "lower case" phrase.
Before Greg sees this! lol

this forum is great. I thank you for your help. :)

sorry for "roadrunner". my english is not the best ... i didn't know the correctly spelling

No sweat Martin. I don't think we do either??? lol
Sorry to hijack your thread. So what do you think about the "CAR" ? lol

Too much money for the yellow 318 car. I bought a new one in 75 it was a 400 and ran well for the year. I wish I could have bought a new 74 though. I would maybe pay high teens for a mint one these days but it would have to be a 400 car.

Maybe @Michael_ can provide you with some tips on purchases from the U.S.A.

I can tell him how i imported mine last year and a few tips what i would do differently next time if he is interested. :)
If so he can ask me anytime.

My opinion on the car:

I see quite a few modifications and wires hanging around under the dash.
While i also dig these cars (in this case i especially dig the interior) i would look for an unmarked 75-76 police car
(which would be a 4 door) with the big 440 engine, hd cooling, supension, brakes etc.
Wont be more money but significantly more fun for me. :D
