Any pics of b body with 18” or bigger wheels ?

my car still has 15's front & rear
it came with the 14" optional chrome 'Road Wheels' from Plymouth
no beauty rings, some people call Magnum 500's

It has 15" x 7 p245/60/15 front 15" x 9.5 p295/50/15 rear NOW
if I could find some 17's &/or 18's,
that had that Halibrand look,
like my Edelbrock (yes Edelbrock wheels)
the kidney bean slot/polished knockoffs do
I'd go with them

I like a lil' sidewall,
partially why I suggested 17's or 18's
I live in the sticks lots of rough roads, potholes etc.

the wheel & tire combo can make or break a car too

don't call me a hypocrite,
I just can't find my personal choice in 17 or 18

for now, I'll live with it
it's like $3k retail what's on it now
(if they even still made them anymore)
the front end needs to be lowered a tad still, BUT :poke:
when I need tires "next time", the T/A's are still like new

I may go to a different style wheel/tire combo

Some 17/18" et mags could be cool

too small for me
I’d like to blend some what of a modern look abd I think I can only get that with a 18/19 or 19/20
Anything over 20 on rear I don’t think I’d like on a b body

I don't like the over 20" on these older cars
starts to look too cartoonish, but that's " just me "
Nahhhh...It isn't just you, man. I like a larger diameter but even a 20" wheel is bigger than I like.

Each to his own, the only opinion that matters is whose ever name is on the title. There are a lot of cars I see on various forums that the owners are proud of and think are awesome that I don't like, but I try and move on and not comment unless they openly ask for comments.

I can even, if I squint hard enough, go with some of the 17's that retain the original look of the
aftermarket ones available back when (like the torque thrusts, for example).
They sort of look right, too.

17" X 8" US Mags all around.

Nitto 555 G2, 275/50ZR17 on the rear at just under 28" tall and just over 11" wide.

I'll never go back to anything smaller and probably wont go larger (if at all) than 18" in the future.

I think that is a fabulous look. That is Exactly what i meant when i said i like 17s !

And no rubbing using Hotchkis leaf springs, I do want to widen the wheel wells at some point but for now this setup is working out great.

Yeah, sort of like that. Classic rim look. Overall height similar, too - just getting there with more wheel, less
sidewall.
From strictly a looks approach, my opinion is still that these cars need sidewall to appear as they did originally
(which is part and parcel of why we love the damn things, eh?), so they'll never look quite right with taller
rims, but this isn't a bad way to go if you just gotta.

I really like the balance a 17" gives. Totally agree they need some sidewall and once you get used to the performance of a 17 a 15" looks a little silly at 28" tall. If you need a 26" tall then 15's still can make sense.

not the best pics but these ar 17x8 and 18x10 foose shockwaves

Here's 305/35/19's on 10" wide rims.

That HAS to be an expensive tire.

Is that a us mag wheel ?
I’ve never seen one in 19

What brand is that wheel ?
Yes, this is their Rambler wheel. I bought these long before they offered the less expensive cast version, these are the 2 piece billet version where you custom order everything about them. Tires are Nitto 555's.
