need help ... what do you think about this Roadrunner?

Why do they spell it "roadrunner" then on the car itself ?? Factory correct. Small letters?? On the Chargers it's spelled with the capitol letter.

So why do we insist on Road Runner? Not stirring the pot just when KD mentioned it I thought why then?

Oh by the way nice old bird for sure. Not factory shock mount that's for sure. Nice to see that back bumper intact. And yes way over priced. ymmv

A more door convertible?
And if you're going to go through all the trouble of the body work, why can't you at least paint the engine the correct color?

I assumed it was in lower case for legal reasons (not a proper name) before the deal with Warner Bros and then afterwards it just stuck
Warner Bros. owned the cartoon bird image, but the actual name wasn't theirs. The deal was to use the cartoon, Plymouth was going to use the name either way.

Always cracks me up when something like this comes up and the comments of it not being a "real" roadrunner (or whatever). You may not like it (like the 78 Challenger) but definitely exist whether you like it or not and there are people out there who like them, Just because you can comment doesn't mean you should.

Road Runner, not roadrunner.
The price seems stiff but who knows what they are worth? They aren't the most desirable and they don't seem to come up for sale often enough to get a baseline for value. The 318 in a 4000 lb car is going to be a slug.
If you like this model and have some youthful attachment to a car like this.....go ahead and make a move. It looks far cheaper than a 68-70 Road Runner.
I agree but I would - at that price - want to get a very close look at body. Not a lot of panels available for it!

Having just watched the video, I suggest that this car is best seen in person before any sort of commitment. Too many things are needing a closer look rather than the quick 'flypast' of the video as shown.

My advice ....

My Dad's '76 Fury Sport was a chick magnet! Springs went through the trunk by 1984.. Our '69 Fury II outlasted it.

Location location. Our first new car, 1978 Fury Sport. 318 lean burn, lock in torque converter. Absolutely sucked pulling a hardtop camper going through Donner`s Pass. After warranty was over, the lean burn acted up. Changed to electronic. When the lock in torque converter acted up put in a regular transmission. Car sure perked up. Had lots of Kilometers on it in 1992 when we sold it to a coworker, husband didn’t keep it clean or really look after it. By 2003 it had very rusty quarters, rest was still not bad. Most of those 75 and later Cordobas Fury’s Magnums, Chargers went to the wreckers a long time ago, lately some have popped up on Kijiji and look very nice. These are in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Maybe 10,000.00 Canadian. One was a one family car if I remember correctly. The 79 300s at least had a 360 4 bbl.
1978 fury 440 police highway patrol car WAS THE FASTEST PRODUCTION CAR MADE IN NORTH AMERICA!

If they cant get the tailpipes even...I mean, how hard is that? Maybe offset exhaust was optional in 1975.
