Guys I bought this ac setup in a bundle deal. And there was a keg of Freon that came with it I didn't pay it any mind when I loaded it but just realized it's a can or r12 !
So I have what feel s like a full can of r12 I will dig the scale out tomorrow to verify how much I actually have but I believe there's 30 lbs .I'm told this stuff is gold!
I will sell what ever I have I just wanted to see if there was Interested people here before I put it up locally. (I like you guys better then people around me)

So to put a price I'll say one million dollars($1000000)......obo
When I find out how much there is we can talk .

Last I saw it for sale it was over $1000.00 for 30lb
but most people will convert to R134 which is not as good but works
and if desperate can be collected from old fridges
good luck with the sale

Yeah that is what I'm seeing about $1000 for a 30# can if it

Good luck at the $1000 price tag. You run into problems selling it legally over the internet for a 30 lbs drum. You and/or the person buying needs to Freon liscense to be compliant to federal reps. The last two partial drums I bought were from a friend and a guy I stumbled on to at a swap meet. Both drums had 10 lbs and I gave 125 for one and 100 for the other. I can still get more from a guy who has a 150 lbs bottle but I think I have enough to do my cars. Yes I am a certified tech with epa certification.

Firstly I never said I'm asking $1000
Second you can legally own and sell r12
It's just not made anymore. You can legally ship freon!
I've seen you epa people you have adds up everywhere to buy any and all Freon so you can sell it for big money!
Please keep your comments to yourself especially on a for sale add!
I'm glad you got a great deal on yours but if you haven't looked around this stuff is on ebay and other sites for sale witch shows me it's aloud !
Again I never said I am asking $1000 I haven't determined a price yet!

Your right, my apologies. You never said you wanted $1000 for it. You said the price was 1 million. I’m not the epa watchdog here. I had to take the test so I would know how much they were going to fine me if I violated any epa laws. I just thought you might want to be careful about selling r12 on the internet. Even small cans of real r12 are not allowed to be sold to someone who does not have a certification. The fake r12 is legal because it’s just not r12. A 30 lbs drum is a little more risky and the only one who can legally buy it from you is a certified dealer. And he can’t sell it without sending it in and getting it reclaimed and cleaned up. Are things done illegal? Yes all the time. Am I going to call big brother on you? No. I don’t like those sob’s anymore than you do. So, I won’t post it to tell you that the fine for selling Freon in any container bigger than the 14 oz cans, to any one that is not a certified Freon handled is $25,000, as a favor to you. Selling any size can of r12 falls into the same category. Read the fine print on the eBay adds about sections 608/609 regulations. If I was doing you a favor, I’d be saying, “ be careful” . But I’ll just mind my own business and not care.

Thanks I have a ac business man as a partner he has license s for everything. I would assume anyone buying it would have one too if not have it shipped to one to have it put in there car . Thanks for concern if no one wants it I'll keep it for my stuff down road but figured it's worth while to someone.
Anyone that can " legally " buy this and wants it let me know haven't I'll go try to check how much is in it now . I'll be back

Ok I have 18.99 lbs minus the tank this on a real high dollar ac scale!
So I think tanks are 4 lbs empty
Iso I have roughly 14-15 lbs of r12 freon
So 8 see prices everywhere
I'll make it easy let's say $400 takes it

If you weren’t so far I’d drive down and let you fill my car up. From what I heard every country in the world can sell it but the US.

Check the stamped tank wt as it will be 14 to 15 lb so you have about 4lb

Oh the Freon guy said the tanks are around 4-5 lbs I'll look !

Checked google real quick most everyone is saying 5 lbs or less on guy said 6 but the majority are saying 5 so I'm still going to double check the tank if it says it but it looks like a little over 13 lbs still

Regular tanks are around 7 #s, that’s a reclaim tank, They weigh around 17-18#s. Plus that means that the refrigerant is reclaimed (used). No way to prove it’s actually r12, or that it’s not contaminated. I wouldn’t use it if it was free.

I thought it was reclaim too .but this is a tagged tank and is tagged as r12 reclaim tanks are not tagged

So what is the tank weight marked on the guard all tanks will have the tank weight stamp on it

Doesn’t matter what tag is on it, it is definitely a recovery tank. Which means any refrigerant could have been put in it. And if it is R12, it’s used refrigerant that could be contaminated. Either way, with the weight of that tank it’s damn near empty.

I will figure this out and repost when I'm 100%sure
