If this has obviously been a problem yeah, why not fix the damn jigEVERY CC radiator, same deal on the mounting bolts. Fix the forkin jig already...
Regardless of how good it might be I would definitely return it. It’s a big *** box so I’m not sure if they would pay shipping. At first I was a little hesitant to say anything because I didn’t want to show my frustration without speaking to someone at cold case first. Obviously there’s enough of us on here who have had problems that they should be aware of this and getting these things fixed. Regardless of how cold they are and how well they may work I would still return it simply because of the poor fitting quality and the fact they haven’t fixed these issues yet. These things are NOT cheap. One of my biggest frustrations in today’s world is the quality of products sold.I know your pain, you could return it. If I went down this road again I would buy somewhere else.
the griffin radiator i bought same thing, it sucks elongating mounting holes in a brand new radiator, but that's par for the course with 90% of all mopar aftermarket parts. ended going with the widowmaker flex fan also. no clutch fan clearanceIf this has obviously been a problem yeah, why not fix the damn jig
Seriously bummed even more after hearing more and more stories about everyone’s issues with these radiators. It would be one thing to have issues, to have your customers tell you what these are and then fix them. I’m surprised FBBO would allow them to continue as a sponsor or company on here with so many issues.the griffin radiator i bought same thing, it sucks elongating mounting holes in a brand new radiator, but that's par for the course with 90% of all mopar aftermarket parts. ended going with the widowmaker flex fan also. no clutch fan clearance
Well, I’ll see if they will return it and pay shipping back to them. If not I’ll modify the bracket. I’ll just cut it and bend it so that it fits the radiator closer to the support. Then when I go to shows i’ll make sure to point out to everyone how I had to modify a $600 radiator to fit because it didn’t come correct. again, that’s only if they are not willing to pay shipping to return it to them.the griffin radiator i bought same thing, it sucks elongating mounting holes in a brand new radiator, but that's par for the course with 90% of all mopar aftermarket parts. ended going with the widowmaker flex fan also. no clutch fan clearance
And I will send it back. Again it was a big *** box so I’m not paying shipping. I’ll wait and see what they will do.That misaligned mount hole would make me more irritated than the fitment of the electric fan. If it is suppose to fit a certain year car, it should fit without modification. I would send it back.
I have some thoughts on modifying it. I mean if it’s been this long and they haven’t done anything maybe I can modify it fix the problem and sell the idea to them.you need to switch to a dual small fan shroud and also have the radiator brackets removed and reset forward to bring closer to support
