Road Runner Concept

Nice Job !

I can imagine Chip Foose working on these ...

Mopar2ya!

No.
Attack of the blob cars.
I am hoping the Road Runner badge and legacy is safe from corruption.

seen a few renditions of them

from the Challenger platform to full-on concepts

Not impressive. Looks like the rest of the so-called tribute cars. Rarely does a new design separate itself from the rest of pack of them.

The 2011 to 2014 Mustang is the only car to get retro/tribute car designs right. Everything else is, as was mentioned earlier, an attack of the blob cars...

I don't know about the retro argument
I think that Dodge did pretty damn well with the Challenger
it is a lil' bulbous too a lot bigger car than the originals

just like the Mustangs got big

IMO Mustangs were pretty good retro 2004-2012-ish
especially the GT350 in black/gold or GT500/Shelby white/blue
until the newest rendition, meh !!! or that bastardized EV
or the car even

since what (?) 2018 looks nothing like the org. cars,
from any era, no matter how it performs
(I can hardly fit either, A & rear B/C pillars are huge vision blockers)

IMHFO the only era of Mustangs for me is 67-68 Fastbacks GT's
or 69-70 Boss 302/429 or the 69-70 Mach 1 fastback/sportroofs
anything past that is meh !!!!
I can't stand the notch backs of any years,
I hate all the 80's & 90's Mustangs

to each their own I guess
be awfully boring if everyone had the same tastes

here's a 2011 version, looks like a Challenger platform
don't care for the Hot Wheels style cartoonish size wheels
or the led lights

another from 2011
I don't like yellow much
it has a couple of styling cues, if it was less cartoonish

I don't think that looking like the originals is the important part. After all, 1968 Chargers didn't look like the originals either, but people still like them. We just want something that looks good.
