Makes zero sense to me when the 17513 is a direct replacement. Wonder what their reasoning is? I've done this a few times by the way, 17513 absolutely fits!

I agree, I don't know why they don't use the 17513. Maybe they want to charge for the extra work?

Haha, who the hell knows...unfortunately that may be the case. I think it's definitely worth a phone call though, maybe save you a few dollars

I run Jones Full Boar from Summit. Not quite but no drone, been on for about 5 years. Made in the USA too.

Here is my take on them. First Flowmasters slowed my sons car down almost 2 tenths when all capped up. I prefer Dyno-Max and if you just want a good sounding not to crazy loud car use the Dyno-Max Turbo's. But as for me I wanted the most performance you can get out of a muffler as I race my car just as I drive it through the full exh so I went with the Dyno-Max Ultra-Flows as they are basically a straight through muffler and I would guess dont slow you down much. I always race my car through the full exh system and I have 2" TTI headers and a 3" system with the Ultra-Flows and I love it. I have never uncapped my car to see if its any difference but I dont think it would be much if any. Bottom line to me is if you want the best performance muffler then use the Ultra-Flows but if you dont care if the muffler slows you a little and robs a little HP then use the Dyno-Max Turbo mufflers. Yup, I ordered the ultra flows!

I put a Dynomax super turbo catback single system on my 92 Dakota.
Slightly louder than stock and has a slight drone at about 75 but the stock Walker did that.
Pipe diameter is 2-3/4" and fits like a glove.
Why a single?
The kit with intermediate pipe, muffler, tailpipe and clamps was $10 cheaper than just the stock muffler!
And I see now auto zoo no longer carries any Walker products for my truck at least. Dont know if that applies to all vehicles.
Their brand is now Bosal, which I've never heard of. They are based in Holland.

I'm surprised by the Flowmaster haters.
My 70 440 6bbl Roadrunner had 3" exhaust on it when I bought it 7 years ago with Flowmaster 40s. I added 1⅞" TTi headers, Doug's electronic cutouts, and a 3" diameter prefabbed X pipe.
When I picked my car up from where I bought it, the rear was facing a short concrete wall. I knew I wasn't leaving without it when I heard the cam via the exhaust. It was glorious!
Also, I am in the low 13s and expect 12s soon with traction, and I don't see any performance difference between open headers and through the exhaust. I know I can't stand the sound of open windows buffeting air, so I'd think muffler drone would bother me too, and I don't think I have any.
Are Flowmaster 40s loud? Kinda, but not punishing like glasspacks. Hey! I drive around with the headers open at Cruisin the Coast, and when I roll into a show.

from my earlier post : These are Dynomax Super turbos 2 1/2" TTI pipes on a 440 with a .528 camshaft stock manifolds
