So the temp gauge is doing something really squirrelly. From cold to almost normal temp it rises nice and smooth like it should, then just as its approaching operating temp, it will jump to just under 230 then slowly creep back down to normal. I thought the sender might have a dead spot so I swapped it out, but no luck. The car has been fully rewired with a factory harness and the gauge is new also (which I know really don't mean squat these days.). Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, we noticed that the rest of the gauges are moving real slow as well. likely the regulator. thanks again

Made the mistake of replacing my cluster regulator (that had the random temp and oil pressure flare up) with another new points type. Now both gauges read way too low. I promptly placed an order with RTE. Thanks for the advice.
