I hope someone can help me. I found a 1976 Dodge Coronet on Facebook that I would like to buy, but the seller only wants cash. Unfortunately, this is not possible from Germany.
The Coronet is in Stewardson, IL

Two key words that are a no-go for me; 1976 & Facebook. Paying cash is not a problem if go to see in person & pick it up right away. Seeing that you're 4,500 miles away, you should pass.

But I would like to buy the Coronet and am looking for a possibility.
I'm not a friend of Facebook either, but the car is only for sale there.
I signed up for Facebook because of the coronet

Buy a plane ticket to IL. and look it over. Bring cash with you. In the mean time inform yourself of the transfer, transportation and all the red tape getting from the parking lot where it sits to Germany. That part will probably cost double what that car costs. Have a good budget. Don't send money sight unseen unless you are ok with losing it.

You may be able to hire an intermediary like a title service company, of course they would add a surcharge for their assistance.

I have a contact for the transport to Germany but the company does not drive there and pays cash. the company just picks up the car and organizes the export.
I don't mind if the Coronet costs $ 8-9000 by the time it is in Germany

Due to the corona regulations, entry from Germany to the USA is currently not possible

There are escrow companies that will handle car sales. I forgot the names of the companies, but I do remember fees are 6% plus a wire transfer.
I'm sure someone on this forum in that area will help. Just be patient.

BTW search to see if there is a auto auction house in that area. Call them (don't email) and explain your situation. They may broker the deal for you.

Could be a scam. Send your $$$, and never see your money or the car again. Lots of predators out there for a fast buck.

Ebay, My friend sold his mustang to someone in Germany.

Does it have to be a 76 Coronet or any Mopar?

I'm looking for a 75/76 Fury 4 door sedan or a 75/76 Coronet. I found 2 vehicles but unfortunately the sellers only want cash. I have now commissioned a company from the USA that exports vehicles abroad to buy a car for me. Unfortunately, many Americans think I'm a scam because I don't pay cash

Contact US Customs and have them run
the serial number. They won't allow export
of a stolen vehicle. If the owner is on the
up and up, he'll have no problem with
supplying you with the number. Trust
should be reciprocal. When you get the
title...he gets the cash.
