Signs of spring ( or another season) where you live?

I'm loving it, over the weekend I could hear the frogs chirping, birds singing but unfortunately already felt the mosquitoes biting. Guess I'll have to live with the mosquitoes because comfortably working outside in a sweatshirt is nice for a change.

I enjoy the priviledge of looking at it.

We're all blossoms and flowers here as of about 3 weeks ago...

We usually don't see rainbows after storms until spring either.

Hear in Ontario Canada, i just saw my first ROBIN thats how i know its SPRING tire burning time.

Spring... I'm headed for camp! Driving right to the dock on our island, some 10 miles down the lake. First opportunity in about 4 years that snow/ice conditions will allow me getting a bunch of heavy/bulky stuff to the island without barging it there. Sleds may not even come out of the trailer, but always go prepared...

Michiganders say spring is when you start seeing the Robins. More accurately, spring begins here when potholes mysteriously appear and orange barrels emerge from their winter slumber.

In Florida I-75 is packed to a standstill with New York and Ohio northbound license plates. That is the indication that spring is here.

We have been smelling stripped puddy cats laying died beside the road. It's spring.

1st day of spring is this weekend

we are still having a 'Miracle March' out here
woke up to a foot of snow this AM

winter still is hanging on, Mother Nature
she's showing her fangs

Robins were everywhere just before the big freeze and figured they moved on but if they did, they came back. Also, all the trees are budding out and pretty good. They were just starting to do that when the freeze hit and thought they got burned like they did 30 years ago in the last major freeze and all summer long the trees looked like crap. Another week or so should tell the full story....

Daffodils and tulips will be starting to bloom here real soon. Adds a much needed touch of color to an otherwise mostly still brown landscape. And as much as I like spring it unfortunately also brings out those blood sucking little vampire creatures known as ticks. I hate those little fuckers! Good thing they are short lived seasonal thing.

Road construction every ten miles, potholes every where, tons of PA & NY plates on the roads, yup, SHUBIES are out, its close to spring time in South Jersey!!

Kinda surprised the fellas from Ill didnt post this....
