Hello All!

I am a retired bookkeeper with too much time on my hands (and presumably too much money!). I am in West Kentucky. I have liked/wanted a Superbird for 50 years so this is a long term dream.

This is a 1970 Satellite, 6 cyl. installed. The car came with a 440 4bbl and 727, a complete Janak kit, V8 K frame, Coronet front fenders (installed) and a repop hood.

Living the dream, is way better then thinking about it. Great job, and what a great car to start with.....they journey is just beginning.

Looks like a decent start.

Welcome from Michigan, the Motor City! Interesting, was the dog included in the sale? 440'

...and you probably won't get a lot of flak for "cutting up" a six cyl Belvedere.

..wait it's a Satellite with a 225?

Interesting.

Thanks all, I appreciate this, 440Coronet500, the dog is a Bird Dog (Spaniel) She can not decide if she wants to ride in it or retrieve it!

Yep, Satellite with a slant six, 2 owners back stored it for 30 years so mostly rust free. Last owner bought the kit, installed the wing and front fenders, bought the hood, 440/4bbl w/727 and the V8 K frame. I asked why after all that he wanted to sell, he said he wanted a Hellcat. (He needs a lot more money than I gave him)

Welcome aboard from NJ. May your Super Bird dreams materialize super fast!

Awesome car, welcome to FBBO, glad to have you with us

Looks like you have killed two stones with one bird !

Welcome from Connecticut.
FWIW, a 68 Satty convertible was transformed into a Daytona 'vert. No easy feat! I was fortunate enough to have a ride in that machine.
