my 68 roadrunner had a 2 speed wiper motor and I needed the 3 speed for air cleaner clearance , switching to air grabber type , so they both have the same 4 wire harness, brown red green blue , now for the switch the three speed switch has an extra terminal on it , when I was rebuilding my dash and putting the wiper switch and pump switch I noticed an extra brown wire on the harness, is that for the extra terminal on my new 3 speed switch , that's what I'm assuming that they wouldn't have 2 different harnesses for the wiper option, has anyone changed this over like me and know for sure

when my switch gets here I'll try it and post the results

Do you need the clearance for a six pack air cleaner? they can be trimmed to use a two speed wiper

I put a high rise with the single 4 , got the base for the 440 because its lower but the top is what hits the wiper motor

I trimmed the air cleaner back so I can use a two speed wiper.

I finally got the 3 speed switch ,put it in this morning the plug fit right on and plugged in the brown wire on the extra tab , turned the key on tried the switch and it works great

I used crank arm #2770176 the only difference is the slotted hole , the bushing and clip are the same
