I guess AMD IS RE-tooling. I am wanting to purchase full quarters but the availability is less then desirable. I installed AMD full quarters on my car and was very happy with the results. I able to get full Goodmark quarters. Can anyone tell me the difference between them? Thanks for the help

Only experience is with goodmark more than a decade ago and current amd and the amd was much better

I haven't installed any Goodmark quarters but I have AMD and I have installed Goodmark fenders. All of the AMD metal I have dealt with has been pretty good, the Goodmark fenders weren't horrible but they definitely needed some tweaking.

I've been told they are all made by Gold Star, Tiawan, R.O.C. This info comes from a friend in the industry (owns a resto catalogue supply for just about everything but Mopar).
AMD is the flagship and the top graded product and the rest are lesser due to grading. Goodmark, Sherman, ect in no specific order....

IMHO, all panels need tweaking....nothing is an exact fit as it's reproduction. It's all we got and a lot better than the alternative of beating your own panels and wheeling!

Well, we've had 1970 Plymouth quarters from jc whitney, goodmark, and AMD over the years and I can tell you they were very different from each other.

I had heard the same thing about Goodmark being manufactured by Gold Star. Never used AMD panels but used Dynacorn on my last car and they sucked. I am assuming Gold Star is the same quality

I installed amd front fenders, complete door shells, rear quarters, trunk lid, hood, outer wheel tubs, trunk pan, front floor panel and outer rockers. All were very good. The doors needed tweaking and the rear trunk pan was 1” too short but they leave enough material to correct this. Overall I was really happy with the quality. AMD is just taking so long to supply full quarters so i was looking into good mark... maybe I’ll just have to wait then. Thanks for all the reply’s guys!

My body man does a lot these panel replacements and he says AMD. Fit and is closer to original.

My car came with quarter panels from Year 1 and I believe they are Goodmark/ I'm not impressed with them, they are almost a 1/4 inch too long. (These are not the full quarters, but the ones that stop about 1 1/2 inches above the top of the quarter panel
