According to the VIN and Fender Tag it's a 67 GTX Hemi automatic.

Yes I know, and it was pretty cool when new.

an ordered car with buckets, console auto, 323 SG, AM radio, rear seat speaker, silver with stripes.

I know 2 guys that bought new cars in 67 and they were both out of money every month paying for the car, house and living.

Could be cool again in the right hands. Looks like originally silver with black stripes bucket seats, column automatic, buddy seat. 3:23 sure grip. AM radio.

Is the ab code 55 or 65, it looks like 55 to me.

It’s hard to read the code I’m unsure now.

My brother is a television repair man. He’s got awesome set of tools !

If I found a car like that and started to read the V.I.N., I'd Die of a heart attack when I got to the "J"!

Come on @Bigdog we all want the rest of the story. You found it. Did you buy it, where was it lost at, we love the stories.

I guy had it for sale. No one believed him it was hemi car. Someone gave him my number. I talked to him. Bought it. It still had the MSO. Had to get title for it. I talked to every owner back to first one. Got good pics. Great stories

Come on big dog , it’s like having blue balls! Let’s hear the story!

Definitely 55.

Now, all you need is a '66 or '67 B-body wagon to haul it with, along with a vintage single-axle car hauler!

Whomever turned you on to this find, buy the guy a case of his favorite beverage!

I don’t do wagons. They only make good derby cars
