I like it. If I had more time (and money, both hard to find) I'd love to build a late model 2 door Chrysler 300 out of a 4 door. The 2 door Charger would have been beautiful too.

I like it!! By the way, there is NO SUCH THING as a 4-door Charger! They need to pick another name for the current thing they're calling a Charger. But I dig this car.

I agree 100%. I expressed the exact same thing on another thread, awhile ago. Call it something else, cuz it's a way cool car, but it shouldn't be a Charger! (Remember the late '70s Dodge Colt Challenger? OMG...)



So, bring on that 2 door Charger!

Inguess the Mustang should still be a Falcon derivative to be called a Mustang and the Barracuda should have remained an A body to be called a Barracuda.
Y'all sound like the Harley guys when the Evo engine first came out.
"That's not a Harley".
Imagine if they never changed.
There would no longer be a Harley.

To be fair to AMF, they were still building the same stuff that H-D built in 69 when AMF bought the company. Aging facilities, and aging tooling was the problem and AMF failed to address it. They were too busy buying companies rather than investing in themselves.
AMF made nuclear reactors and ICBM missile launchers so it's not like they were incapable of making things right.
They built Hatteras yachts which had a very good reputation.

I agree, the two door rendering looks too much like a Camaro.
