Does the 318 poly use a different oil filter than the 318 LA?

According to Rock Auto, No As an example they both take a PH8A (Used as an example, I do not endorse Fram)

Thank you. Autozone and Napa don't list a different filter for the poly either but they may not be aware that the 1966 and older 318s are completely different than the newer 318 LA.

Actually the two are quite similar excepting the heads. Its why the newer is called a Light A.

I use the Mopar filter MO-090 on my poly - there's a long and short filter, I have to use short due to headers...
