Low beams work fine, when I hit the high beams the passenger side low goes out. Cleaned all the connectors, they were not really dirty. All new headlights, tried swapping them around, no change. Tried a new dimmer switch, nothing. Where should I start checking wires? or is there another component to check before that. Thanks.

Low beam is a three wire bulb, it is both low and then switches to high when the "high" beam also comes on. Wire broken off socket or harness splice (or the "high" filament of your "low" beam bulb is burnt out, but you say you swapped them). Get the meter out.

When you switch to high beam low beam turns off
Check for power for high might just be a bad light

Check the connector at firewall for looseness or corrosion.

Also would recommend using relays as wiring/switch is old and connectors corroded reducing amperage to lights.

As mentioned above, on the passenger side, if a known good dual filament low beam bulb has been installed and still no high on the outboard “low beam” connector, has to be an open in the harness between the passenger side inboard high beam connection and the outboard connector, red wire, doubles off the right-side high beam connector. Check the inboard high beam bulb connection for a failure of the dual wire crimp.
Break out the VOM, save yourself some guess work.

There are some ground points under the dash including the instrument cluster it's self that can affect the operation of the headlights and parking/turn lights.

All forward lighting on the described vehicle, are grounded on a ring terminal under a bolt in the core support near the battery. There are no ground points under the dash that have anything to do with forward lighting. There is nothing about the described symptoms that suggests a ground problem at the bulb socket.

Thank yall. Put the meter to it and it was in the socket. All is well, now onto to turn signals.
