cutting grass is great when your retired, not so much when you have lots of other stuff to do! 3 cuts at home already and 1 full cut and trim last week wed/thurs. at the club before the rain started. previous has been hit and miss where it was long!
at least with the covid restrictions I can't open the commercial pool. the pool at home is open and likely 50F,grandson was in already for a few cannonballs until he was turning blue!

Front lawn leveling update June 19, 2020.

It's been a dry spring in Moore, OK this year. I had to use a ton of water. Not so today; we received about 2 inches of badly needed wet stuff. Here's the lawn in 3 stages. It's filling in nicely. My common Bermuda does not like to be mowed 1/2". So, I set the blade at 1.5 and it's starting to look better. Patience is a requirement for lawn renovation.

Does anyone know what's causing the yellow areas? I think it's the baby Bermuda from grass seed I planted not agreeing with the hot and dry weather.

March 13, 2021 for first time mowing.
Just about everything seems to be running late this year in coastal Georgia. Trees (other than pine tree pollination), grass, weeds, bugs, and birds are waiting for something?

I'm guessing about once a month or less during the winter but our winters are usually fairly mild....except for this February! Did mow the leaves (grass was getting a bit high too) shortly after the big freeze though and picked up a level full Dakota bed full. Thought about burning them but that's just too many plus it's been windy lately. Pretty sure some neighbor would have complained....and probably wouldn't be a bad idea to mow again now.

Hopefully not for at least another month. Got enough chores to do now.!

Day before yesterday. Not much grass but plenty of wild onions.:D

Yard mowed 20 March. Pasture is this Saturday.

Not yet. Snow just left and there's still piles of ice. Mud season now. Grass in a few weeks.

When ever it pops through the "Pinelands" sand, kinda like beach sand for those not familiar with New Jersey. Hasnt yet, so not done, which is good, tons OT at work, short handed AGAIN.
