Hey guys, I had new exhaust put on my 65 two years ago. It is just a little too loud. The car has headers and full exhaust
Any recommendations?

What mufflers are on it now?
Loud like loud loud or droning while driving?
Exit out the back?
Everything tight?

I believe they are magnaflow, exit out the back, yes it is all tight
Little of both drone and loud

What size are your pipes? Are your magnaflows straight thru?
If you have room, i would suggest resonators in the tailpipes. If the magnaflows are the straight thru's, a same size triple pass would be quieter.

Super Turbos are nice and mellow.

I have headers & 3" exhaust with Cherry Bombs, I love the sound. The first time I drove the car on the highway, a guy in a BMW pulled up to me at a traffic light and told me it sounded better than his $2,000.00 stereo! :D

You could add an H pipe if you don't already have one or many been able to tone their exhaust down by adding resonators before or after their existing mufflers.
