I believe they are magnaflow, exit out the back, yes it is all tight

What size are your pipes? Are your magnaflows straight thru?
If you have room, i would suggest resonators in the tailpipes. If the magnaflows are the straight thru's, a same size triple pass would be quieter.

I have headers & 3" exhaust with Cherry Bombs, I love the sound. The first time I drove the car on the highway, a guy in a BMW pulled up to me at a traffic light and told me it sounded better than his $2,000.00 stereo!

You could add an H pipe if you don't already have one or many been able to tone their exhaust down by adding resonators before or after their existing mufflers.
