As far as I understand for an international wire transfer you have to get a code from the bank (this is chase, could be different for others) and notify them if it’s Incoming or outgoing transfer. One time deal, money transfers and it’s done. Opening up a separate account seems reasonable for this situation. I just looked into this as I have someone from the Netherlands interested in mine.It isn't about the bank, it is ALL about the ******* thieves and scum bags that will use that number to steal your money. The bank does not know who is actually using it nor can they track it that way or it would not be the problem it is. You give them that number and the first thing they do is transfer all the money OUT of the account.
