I January had that mild heart attack due to low potassium levels, no damage thank god but now I have C19. Not real bad, chills sweating body shakes cough constipation, have I left anything out? Oh yes, a crabby disposition. Went to the ER Friday morning and surprise that all the tests were negative? Come on this is a virus? The doctor swabbed my nose and said he would call in three days. Funny he called the next morning telling me I have it and to stay home and Isolate. This sucks! I went out to the shop that morning and did some layout work on a bracket I'm making. Not even in too the first hour, I started feeling bad. Back in the house to catch hell from the wife. Eight more days of this then I can be with people. Still suspicious all the standard tests showed nothing and the nose swap that takes three days came back in less than twelve hours. As far as where I got it that's a mystery as well, NPPA and a hardware store were my only two stops for a week. Oh well, it could be worse Faucii could have been the ER doctor.

Get well soon , I agree I don’t have much faith in anything anymore as they have ruined my trust as folks that didn’t get tested got notified they had it...wtf?

Get well soon!

Strictly for medicinal purposes if you can!

...chills sweating body shakes cough...
Watch the cough especially Auggie - the true virus will attack your ability to take a deep breath, especially
in your upper respiratory and lungs.
The moment that happens (if it does), run like hell back to the hospital!

Did they not give you any prescriptions for this? I'd find that REALLY suspicious if not.

Best Wishes for Your Health. The few people I personally know, that have had the Kung Flu, are Aged, 70+, or in less than "perfect" health, being Over weight, and not super active. Drs here in NY Will Not Prescribe HCQ, by Order of Killer Cuomo. By way of Friends in Florida, HCQ was Sent Up, administered, with anti-biotic, Zinc, and Vitamin D, and Recovery for Those was completed. Keep in mind, the Recovery Rate for C-19, is 99.97xxx%. The Media is Still Spinning the Story, to Keep America in Control. If you Trust your Dr, follow His Lead, but Trust Your Instinct More...

I hope that you're feeling better soon Auggie. It's the Flu.

May God watch over you Auggie. Amen.

Corona is real, as you found out. Treat all your symptoms just like a cold/flu with over-the- counter medication (except, no dextramothorophan - spelling?) in your cough syrup. There is "some" data to show you're better off with Dimetap or something that doesn't have it and uses something else as a cough suppressant. Also, I highly recommend an oximeter. They cost about $15 at Walgreens and they're those clothespin looking oxygen level things that clip over your fingernail. Apparently, "some" people have their blood oxygen levels drop really, really fast and don't even know it. That's the problem to watch out for. Ask your doctor what is the "danger oxygen level". If yours drops below that, you re-check 2-3 times and it really is that low, head directly to the emergency room ASAP. As long as you're above that oxygen level number, just take it easy, lots of fluids, chicken soup, stay warm, etc, etc and you'll be fine.

As far as where you got it, some people's getting sick can be delayed by as much as 2 weeks after being exposed. So sometime, somewhere you were around somebody in the last 2 weeks, pretty close to them, both of you without masks, for 15 minutes or more (roughly on all this) OR you shared a beer with someone OR something like that. Somebody you've been around, maybe someone with absolutely no symptoms at all, was infected.

I hope you get well soon, sorry your going threw this. Rest my friend.

Get well soon. Stay on top of it.

I got it in Aug. They tell you 3 days for nose swab because it can take up to 3 days or longer depending on backlog. I did CVS drive up test and had results in 24 hrs. Took about 2 weeks to get my energy back. Never got cough. Fever lasted 3 days. Muscle/joint aches about 2 weeks.
