Love the 1968 Dodges?

Still pretty new in late '68.

The wife just found a pic from '69-71, I think. Who remembers cosmoline over chrome bumpers in the winter??! ( choose ur view). A little SE of Akron,Oh.

I love 68's. Seems I have had more 69's (cars that is).... Wound up with a batch if 70's somehow since I have four 70's.
 
Garage pic is of her today she still needs a drive train I have but all needs to be redone 384 4spd A/C car non numbers matching unfortunately on the drivetrain get stuff little by little

That’s the plan hopefully sooner than later, just seems like when I have some cash something always come up with the house or other vehicles but I bought a 2 post lift I plan on getting up this spring so I can get going on it
Man it’s been a long time coming

As far as the Coronet tail, I like both the '68/'69 Superbee/440 the same, but on the R/T and 500, the '68 is better looking by far.

I never liked the '69 R/T and 500 tail panel 3rd eye, it looks unnatural. And the '68 panel is one of the coolest ever. That, and the rallye dash (also A12) is the main reason I'd take a '69 Superbee over a '69 R/T. If I owned a '69 R/T, I'd seriously consider changing the tail panel to a Superbee.

I love my GTX, but IMHO the 68 Charger has one of, if not the best rear end, tail light panel of any year Mopar.
 
And no one mentions the top dawg....:lowdown:
