B/J has,

Steve Magnante – Auction Block Expert & only guy that knows his ****!

Magnante is the former Technical Editor for Hot Rod Magazine. After a life long fascination with cars, Steve landed the job at Hot Rod Magazine to re-emphasize the roots of hot rodding, nostalgia drag racing and focusing on inexpensive junkyard-sourced hot rod projects. He is the author of three CarTech Books and currently a spokesperson for Dodge.
I agree on Steve Sonny as he has a brain bucket full of great knowledge. That being said, tell me that BJ doesn't slam marquees and years of vehicles as well. Some of their likes and dislikes are about the same as Mecum. Just sayin' is all...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Did they really make that many '69 Z28's and Chevelles?? They could've shortened the auction to a couple of hours if they concentrated on Mopars!

They didn't. But that's the joy of all the 'tribute' cars.

I suppose.

Lobbyists ALSO are the reason for a whole bunch of other bullshit that impacts our hobby as well so watch out what you wish for........

Tributes, that's funny, I guess clone was too harsh a word

It’s a beer worthy event to spectate with friends and wonder how far will it go but that’s as far I go with it.. gives us another reason to visit . But! I do think it has brought our cars to the public eye , maybe brought us some appreciation out of it.. let’s face it, us car guys are a dying breed..I grew up and got the bug , it’s the fact of what they trigger in our little cave man mind that makes us love them, it puts them up near the importance of food, beer, women , guns! Lol

I can't take credit for it, that's what the 'industry' is calling them now.

I guess "clone" was too derogatory...
Ya , most of us have had to take diversity and sensitivity training because some -------- ----- ----- -- ----- got there feelings hurt

Lobbyists in SUPPORT of the industry can fight the lobbyists who are AGAINST the industry...and while they're all preoccupied, we can just drive and enjoy our cars.
