Hello everyone ! :)

First, I'm really happy to finally become a member of this wonderfull forum, I have been reading you for a few years, you helped me a lot !

My name is Nicolas, I'm 29, and I live in the south of France.

Already very young, I dreamed of those big American cars that I saw through movies and television series.
This dream has grown more and more, years after years... And in 2011, at the age of 19 I bought my first car, a 1973 Chevelle 350 SS

I still have her today, but now she really need a total restauration, lot of rust (Québec Car...)

Two years later, in 2013 I bought a 74 Camaro (for sale not far from home), with a L6 250 and 3 speed on the floor, I drove her as a daily till 2018 when i sold her.

in the meantime I bought the 1984 C20 Silverado of a friend, 6.2D, 700r4 my actual daily driver

And a G-body Cutlass 4.3v8 diesel (worst engine of all time!), my actual project (swap 355chevy).

So... I know this isn't a GM forum... but you know, Mopar are expensive, even more for a young guy in france.. and my teenage dream was a 68 Charger or a 71 Roadrunner with the air grabber..
I had pretty much given up on the idea of one day being able to buy a Mopar, and in October 2019 I came across an ad from Craigslist LA, a 72 Satellite, with a well cammed 360, ported R / T heads, 435hp dyno sheet, 727 + Gear Vendor, 4.56 positrac, Nitrous eqquiped ... and all at a very good price.

And my teenage dream came true! :D

Some nice American rides you have considering you are across the ocean!

Welcome from Missouri!! I've had a few GM's in my life also, Nova's and G bodys. You don't see a lot of 73 Chevelle 350 SS's here. Your time will come. Good luck!!

Welcome aboard from NJ. That 72 is very nice! Best of luck with it and thanks for posting the pictures! By the way, your English is just fine!

Welcome! Your english is very good! Maybe even better than some of us. ruffcut

Welcome from NY.
I think you did s fine job on the introduction.
Better than some we get from people who supposedly have English as their first language.

Wow, thanks you to everyone for this welcome !
See you soon on other threads:thumbsup:
