I saw that. You know that the braded insulated lines are also around. Like what one said about raising the carb's up some. Also the block off on the cross over on the intake manifold.
ok. i was trying to understand if i made an error.Me? I didn't disagree about anything?
Whats going on here?

Ok, I will some better insulators, and I have Eddie heads so no crossover
Only on a hot day after say a drive then get off freeway to a stop it stumbles like its going to dye. If you stop to get more fuel, hard to get started again right away. What makes you think it is vapor lock?
Do you have access to ethanol free gas?Only on a hot day after say a drive then get off freeway to a stop it stumbles like its going to dye. If you stop to get more fuel, hard to get started again right away.
Any other say 80s down it runs perfectly aways.
Are you sure it is starvation or is it flooding? You might want to verify fuel pressure.Only on a hot day after say a drive then get off freeway to a stop it stumbles like its going to dye. If you stop to get more fuel, hard to get started again right away.

Yes happily we have a Sinclair that has premium no ethanol. A little tricky to find all over in premium.Do you have access to ethanol free gas?
Will do great idea, I have a Hemi mechanical manual pump no regulator or gauge. Are you sure it is starvation or is it flooding? You might want to verify fuel pressure.
I had to change a Carter pump on my hemi because of to high of pressure. I could of kept it if I ran a regulator. I opted for another Carter lower PSI rated and it cured my problem. Any idea of what pump you are running? Will do great idea, I have a Hemi mechanical manual pump no regulator or gauge.
It runs so good any other time, dangit.lolI had to change a Carter pump on my hemi because of to high of pressure. I could of kept it if I ran a regulator. I opted for another Carter lower PSI rated and it cured my problem. Any idea of what pump you are running?
Beat up? Seriously? The discussion about idle bowl vent valves vs primary bowl vents?Oh man! Where the heck were all you guys when I was getting beat up over this concerning a Thermoquad, a couple weeks ago?????

Testing the pressure for the most part should have no cost. No cost is good because you are not wasting money guessing and throwing parts at it. Now if the pressure is 7psi or less you have to think about what to try next. If the pressure is over 7 and lets say higher 9psi you might consider a different pump or regulator. Once you test it you will have the facts. It runs so good any other time, dangit.lol
It's a stock Carter rebuildable style.
I will test pressure next.
The bowl area vents internally, and via "the idle bowl vent valve".. correct?
