It's getting where I can't find things. Been working on a Dana 60 from hell plus have been working on some of my 'yard tools' and have stuff scattered all over the place. Just a few weeks ago I had 3 work benches looking pretty good but now they are full of clutter....and it's driving me nuts! 2 of my 3 pickups have been utilized as work benches too and can't have that but one of them is pretty easy to clean off.....at least for the time being. All the while the house is being neglected so I'm looking for a live in maid too! :D

I hear you, my garage is a disaster! I've had home improvement projects all winter so I only went down to sweat pipes, grab tools etc leaving stuff lay everywhere. Then comes the nice weather and now the KX250 is scattered everywhere getting rebuilt, combine that with the fact that every ATV, dirt bike or vehicle that's been in here has been covered in mud or road grime and you have a mess! Hoping to get it organized and washed out this weekend.

My 2 stall garage (where Mamma parks her car) was built in 1919. Back then the cars were smaller. Well you fill half of it with my stuff and leave enough space for her car and all of a sudden it's overflowing. Ya, some of my stuff hasn't seen the light of day for a decade. (but's its valuable car parts.) I need to start cleaning. LOL

C'mon, some of those cars from 1919 were the size of a small truck. :)

I can relate to not a big enough garage
(albeit it's usually relatively well kept/clean)
lil' 20' x 20' small 2 car garage
I have to keep it organized or I won't find ****
with my 68 RR & my 99 Dakota in it & my toolboxes
a bench on one side & a few wall shelf getting **** off the floor

Sonora shed.JPG

also have to have a 10' x 12' Tuffshed out back for the extras
or take offs, lots of construction tools too

I went from a 3500 5 bed/3.5 bath 5 car garage
& a 47,000ft warehouse 2 floors
(company office building 67,000)
to a 1600+ 3 bed/2 bath home with a lil' 2 car garage
(built-in 1989)
you can say I downsized a bit

68 RR #11 Driveway rear Apr 26 2011.JPG

I got rid of or gave away or sold so much stuff
& I still don't have enough room
surprising how I even make it all work

I was going to turn my rear car port 42' x 28' x 14'
into a shop when dad quit traveling but he's still traveling
I like to keep all my stuff undercover or in a garage
the sun & snow is brutal on stuff not under roof at a min.

They added on to my garage and hollowed out the inside wall to fit a bigger car in there. My wife doesn't want a garden shed for all that extra stuff. :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Good thing the upstairs is finished with a narrow staircase to get there. A great place to stuff car parts. LOL

Time, is right!
A friend and I bought a box truck to move stuff out of california, but my plan for now is to move everything into the box, and organise it when i put it back (and maybe find a few things that are missing, lol).
Was doing okay till my puppy needed surgery, that didnt go well, and now needs 24/7 supervision.
Oh well, i will get back to it soon.

I can empathize completely. We had a contractor out Wednesday to quote for 10' to be added on. Behind the garage is a small barn that I use as a wood shop .
My adorable bride ,asked me how soon before that addition is completed ,as she wants to order her 2021 Challenger SRT Widebody . She wanted to order a HellCat but was told by the local dealer that it's not offered in a manual transmission

And some of those small truck sized cars could only be afforded by the entitled elitist, and their garage's would reflect that!
The price of that Hisso probably would have bought two or three homes in california at the time!

My mess got started during the Feb freeze. Helped my neighbor thaw out and replace some piping and had to deal with my own stuff too. Most of the stuff that got pulled out of cabinets etc got put back up but not all of it. It just added up.

My year started out (Jan 2) taking one of my Pdogs to the vet.....and then doing several follow ups only to finally learn that these people didn't know squat about exotics. They weren't my personal vet but mine wasn't available at the time but we got to the bottom of the problem once we got together. Not sure how long my little doggie will be around but at least I know what to do now.....

Lol!!! What do you drink and I'll make sure to bring ya something extra!!!!

How timely Cranky!! I was pretty sure that I left a wing in my shop, but with me and flat surfaces + add nobody allowed in for a year it kinda got ahead of me. Fixed some of that today and found a wing!

My little man, "Hemi"
Balls didnt drop, had complicated surgery to get him fixed to avoid testicular cancer. Astoundingly strong little cuss tore all his stitches. Vet bill already more than the property taxes.
Oh well, back to the garage when i can, lol.
