Found a 77 RV w a 440. Made a deal for it, but I had to pull it.. alone. My picker broke through the boards I had, into dirt. Had to use minivan to pull it out of the hole! And into the back of a caravan

I'm amazed at what they are capable of, other than a valve springs and lifters change, a cam swap, a carburetor...
Then bolt on nitrous and spray!
THAT was productive. To go one BIG step UP? Swap in a cheap blow through carb and single turbocharger and now you have 650+ ft lbs torque and 527 horsepower with plenty of time for additional tuning.

Sheeeiiiit.......looks like you got off easy! I have one I'm getting ready to yank from a chassis like that, straight out the front.

Much quicker than the last one I got!

Ha, ha: Yep, I pulled a couple of 8V92's out of a boat a few years ago, that was a bit tricky too.

I hope you grabbed the kickdown rod - same as 71-72 on a lot of them.
No I didn't, but going back for the tranny in a few days Anything special about the RV 440s? It's car a standard water pump on it, and a weird bracket, looks like AC, had a thermoquad on it, I'll probably be selling that, the exhaust manifolds, etc

My question is....how do you get rid of the motor home, after you yank the 440 out of it?
