Time to clean up the shop!!!

How timely Cranky!! I was pretty sure that I left a wing in my shop, but with me and flat surfaces + add nobody allowed in for a year it kinda got ahead of me. Fix some of that today and found a wing!

Man, my first thought was 'thats a big fluorescent light fixture on that bench' then saw the cleanup lol. And do ya have a 77 Dodge pickup around there too?

'77 and '78 Ramchargers..
Had a 74 Pickup that an elderly lady that decided to wipe out my grill and I stuck in a 77 to replace the 74. Yeah, had double turn signals lol

Other than the fact that my garage is 34x60 and you can't walk around in it,everything is fine! Everything is in its place!

Stacked like my garage ....only I have less walking space.
Tidy up time this long weekend....started erecting some racking yesterday. :)

Got a LOT done today but will probably take another one to finish up! Geez.....

It's getting where I can't find things. Been working on a Dana 60 from hell plus have been working on some of my 'yard tools' and have stuff scattered all over the place. Just a few weeks ago I had 3 work benches looking pretty good but now they are full of clutter....and it's driving me nuts! 2 of my 3 pickups have been utilized as work benches too and can't have that but one of them is pretty easy to clean off.....at least for the time being. All the while the house is being neglected so I'm looking for a live in maid too! :D
^^^^^^^^^^ VVVVVVVVVVV
This can only lead to trouble. Forgot Santana's
History lesson already!

I don't have the stashes of parts a lot of you guys have - I'm sort of the type that doesn't keep
anything not of an almost immediate need or use.
That hasn't always been the case - that particular trait developed in the last decade, all sort of part of the
"don't leave a mess when I'm gone" campaign I've been on since, well, you know...
The amount of Mopar stuff I have takes up a few shelves in the garage, down from tons a decade before.

A similar situation also to the amount of plumbing, electrical, building supplies I have - I keep enough
of any of it around (including application-specific stuff to match what's in service now around here) to
facilitate repairs and such, but that's about it.

That said, I have employed the old redneck axiom when it comes to needing more storage - namely,
when that situation has arisen (and it has, more than once) - well, I just build something else to
take care of it.
After all, there's no HOA here - there's no neighbors to concern myself with and there's shitake tons
of room to do so, free of having to get approval from any entities beforehand or after.
The garage was built to house a Mopar - one that doesn't currently reside in it, mind you - as well
as to provide work and storage space for any projects and such.
What we call the "carport" (massive thing that it turned out to be) was built to get the tractor and
such out of the weather - and wound up being the other parking bay when needed as well later on
for the Ram.
They sit on either end of the house, which has the side benefit of shielding it from the weather also,
helping with cooling bills in summer especially.

Finally, a simple lawn shed contains all the gardening stuff for the wife, as well as miscellaneous lawn
tools and my concrete mixer.

Now, do I anticipate ever needing more room? Nope.
Doesn't mean that won't happen - but if it ever does, it will be a sure sign that I might have gotten
past that "don't leave a mess" thing I have burnished in my brain.
After all, I do enjoy the heck out of building stuff....:)

I can empathize completely. We had a contractor out Wednesday to quote for 10' to be added on. Behind the garage is a small barn that I use as a wood shop .
My adorable bride ,asked me how soon before that addition is completed ,as she wants to order her 2021 Challenger SRT Widebody . She wanted to order a HellCat but was told by the local dealer that it's not offered in a manual transmission
