$500- 68 charger

I watched a youtube vid where the guy was using this polishing compound and talked me into trying it. I made a buffer with my drill and some microfiber rags. I used it on some scratches and defects in my paint. IT WORKS GREAT! You can get it at autozone for $14.

Griot's is good stuff! I've been using their products for years. Their interior cleaner works really well too. A few years ago I rented a jackhammer from Home Depot and one of the employees placed the bits, covered in grease, on the carpet in the rear of my Durango. The interior cleaner took the grease out with no problem.

Finally got my speedo working. I haven't replaced the stock speedo gear so with the 3.91 rear gear the speedo is showing about 5 mph faster than actual, but I can live with that awhile. While I had the cluster out I made up 2 wires and hooked them to the wiper switch (that I am not using for wipers since I deleted them) and I'm going to use it for my line lock when I put it on. Also finally got my temp gauge working. The nuts that hold the gauge in had a bit of corrosion and needed some cleaning since they actually transfer power, I think.

Figured I'd do the door bar mod on the passenger side. I put a chunk of steel inside the bar to strengthen it where I spliced into the lower part. Now for some good ole brush on gloss black oil based enamel.

Hoping to go to the strip more this summer so I put my #101s on. Made them out of some piled up jegs stickers. And put them on the inside so the white back shows. Better than shoe polish.

Now, what to dial......
I'm going to get a piece of thin black plastic and put the dial# on that with a white marker, shoe polish or something that I can erase/change the dial# as needed, then put it in the window inside.

I used to buy packets of adhesive numbers and used those. Black #s on white background, they used to be like 1.99 a packet. 2/3 would last me all season.

I looked, they are mailbox vinyl letters 1.69 a packet
