I read somewhere that Willie Nelson said that there were only two kinds of guys in the world...the ones that had a crush on Linda...and the ones that didn't know who she was.

I neither... I know who she is & I've never cared for her...

There's only about two songs she
performed that I really cared for. Those
were 'Long, Long Time', and 'Different
Drum', from her Michael Nesmith/Stoned
Ponies days. Guess my age.....

Maybe this Linda.........

Yup, got most of her albums except the Stone Ponies stuff. I guess I’m too YOUNG for that. Lol. Great singer loved her vocal range. She has gotten real kookie in her old age. I’ve noticed most artist are a little tilted that way. I guess if I had millions of people chearing me on, I’d get to thinking I was hot stuff too. Natural progression of man.

Linda - was always a sexy sounding name to me...had a memorable night with a gal by that name. "Lel..lel..lel..lel..lel..la Linda when I go to sleep...I never count sheep...". My apologies, this is about Ronstadt...like her or no...she was a fox in her prime. Sad to see her now as she's not in good health.

I removed this poster from the NY subway back in the 70's.
It was quite colorful back then, faded a lot since.

Back in the day, she did have a powerful voice & a great range. Not bad on the eyes either.

If Willie wasn't famous, he would have never gotten laid with any Linda.

Our local rock station plays a whole album every Sunday night. Last Sunday was LR's greatest hits. We were on our way back home from visiting across the state. As soon as the signal was in range (about an hour away) we listened to some great old tunes. She has a great voice with a natural range I never realized.
