Been hovering around 95 degrees around here this week. Seawater will become very warm by August.

Amazing the differences. 3 days over 90 here is a “heat wave”. You guys wouldn’t even notice except for the humidity.

Summer will be hot? Yes, that prediction has high probability.

106* in BullHead City Az on Monday.
We get about 10 days of spring and straight into summer in the desert.

Wow, it was 75 here yesterday and my 17 yr old son went to the beach!

Hovering mid to late 90s. Gradually easing into summer. Stays hot until around 4 then starts to cool. 65 last night, we had the doors open.

suppose to get a lot of monsoons this summer.

Shandon Commiefornia, 73 the high and 39 for the low. But I’m sure it’ll get hot here real soon.

Weather by me has been perfecto around 70 low humidity - but it's Wisconsin - we've had serious snow after this on a few occasions. Going back a whole lot of years though since this happened. One time was around April 10th - senior in HS - woke up to find my car in the driveway buried to the hood. Schools closed. I said F it, plopped back down in the sack...that is...until my boss called me (I worked part time and Saturdays then at a machine shop). He says "Ronny school's closed, git yer *** down here!" So much for dat...

True that, Snow never scared us much back in PA. It was a challenge to go to work or school.
And if it was a school closure ,we maned our shovels and went door to door to make a buck.
Try to find a kid that would do that today, :gay:

and probably a dry one to boot. Maybe the Okefenokee swamp will catch on fire again. Lots of smoke in Savannah lady time.

we may have a hotter than normal summer

we've had a wetter than normal winter
as far as I'm concerned anyway

seems like we get either extremes, like 3 of every 7 or so years here
fall & spring don't change much, maybe just start later, like a month

It's nothing new
seems like what weather/seasons we had when I was a kid
(50+ years ago)
has shifted a whole month, or near a whole month
our summers go into fall more, like into late September
our springs are short always April & May really
our winters seem to go into late March early April reg. now,
use to be spring "weather" by then

I remember July here (my Birthday Month) really being the hottest month
now it seems to be August
I remember the 4th of July & past my birthday the 12th,
always being some of the hottest days of the year
now it seems to be August
we always had a week or 2 of 100*+ weather then
always had fun in the pool or at the lake/river too

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

maybe that 365-1/4 days a year is actually not 100% accurate
maybe the 1 in 5 years of a leap year 1 day added for/to Feb.
has shifted that much in the 62 years, me being on earth

maybe I just remember it wrong :poke:

I fear Arizona summer is ready to rock. 90-100 last few days.

It was 36 degrees and snowy/rainy at noon today. I know it's weird but at Monument Pass, we are another half mile above Denver the mile-high city.
