I need a new battery in my 69 charger RT 440 and was going to put a Interstate in it. Anybody know the group number or model # would need costco can't look it up for me said i need to know.

69 Charger R/T should be a group 27. A group 24 will work too.

just looked it up.
$93? that sound rite for a group 27 1000 ca, 810 cca?
been a long time since i bought one.

Batteries have went up considerably in the last 6 or so months. Sounds like a decent price.

I bought a Ever Start (Johnson Controls manufactured) and a Mopar battery cap and decal kit. https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/battery-topper-kit-and-cap-color-chart.195930/

I have a diehard gold that is 12 years old at least. Last summer I pulled it from my Coronet and replaced it with a napa legend.
Only reason was the age of the diehard, It had never let me down, never had a tender on it in the winter but I did put the charger on it at least once per winter just to keep it up.
Anyhow long story short, that diehard is still sitting on my shop bench showing 13.5 volts. The dang thing is showing me I wasted my $ LOL.

Bought a interstate at costco today for 89 bucks with 700CCA group 24 i heard the 27 is for cars with AC

I've switched to AGM,,I think I paid $215 for the one in my truck...anything under a $100 is a steal.
Not sure about you location but we have independent Interstate vendors all over the place here.

Interstate is a good battery as long as you don't mind green.

Exide

I can't believe it sits all winter without a tender or charger and always has plenty of juice to crank it over in the spring.

Mine has a regular over the counter Mopar group 27 in it, been there since 2011 .
I know I shouldn't open my mouth but it cranks the hot rod up just fine
