I know there are a few us looking for this same glass run channel, but I am need of glass run channel for a 1969 Plymouth Sport Satellite 2 dr., I think the original Chrysler part number was #2932230......let me know what you have and how much pls. Thank you!

scarcer than hens teeth right now! I wish you good luck finding something that will work. ruffcut

Man a pic would be nice ! I have some track laying loose in a box and a 70 right side, Satellite door loaded.

Holy ****! I have a brand new pair sitting in my toolbox. Think I paid like 80 bucks for them about 5-6 years ago. And I thought that was a rip off for them then considering what they are

5-6 years ago real ones had dried up... What you have is probably the repos that don't work...

$500US any day of the week for a pair of curved ones.

There have been at least two members here offer up OEM's since the OP first started looking. Ruffcut jumped on the opportunity with one of them..

Correct curved ones were still available about 3.5 years ago, as I bought a pair and put them in the Bee..

Guess I'd better get back to work...

Nope they are Chrysler ones. Dated 2014. I remember I ordered 2 full sets at the time in case I screwed mine up when I was putting my windows together.

Sorry to the OP but I didn’t mean to hijack the thread with my post of how much these things are going for these days.

My apologies as well. Wish the OP good luck with the search!

No apologies necessary, I appreciate the real world pricing info....now liking the information and appreciating it are very different, but it does give me perspective.

I am hanging onto the factory OEM channel runs that I still have in inventory. I bought up 64 sets back in September of 2017 as I recall when I was informed that they were going out of production. Being involved with the manufacturing of the reproductions, I know that they are very difficult to manufacture consistently and the raw material cost is another reason not to pursue them for many in the manufacturing world.

You can sometimes stumble across them in the smaller non Mopar swap meets. They were used up through 1993 in truck and van applications, so they are still out there. Finding a good used one in a 50 year old door frame is not going to happen.

Good luck with the search!!!

So they only went away three years ago... I thought it was longer than that...

Knowing that might give you a chance at finding some in a wrecking yard that are useable...

Good luck with the search!!!

Yup, Good Luck with the search!!

The mylar runs came and went at least on three different occasions as I recall. The first time was 2012, then 2014 and finally in 2017. Each time they were not listed as NS1, but they were never a scheduled production date to replenish the parts depots. The computer system would show dealer orders, but no expected ship date. Due to the amount of factory inventory that I would be ordering, they would just show up and pleasantly surprise me.

The Chrysler system still works in the same way. I have several items still on order with my Chrysler rep as the part number is still valid and has not been listed as NS1 or completely dropped. Occasionally, a dealer will turn a part back in and then I get a call that one of my parts has came back in. I have not checked with Chrysler in the past year to see if the mylar number is still in the system. I have tried to locate the OEM vendor for Chrysler, but that information is highly protected and begging has gotten me no where.

I may have to go “Dukes of Hazzard” style and just take my windows out!

I posted this above but it got lost in the click to expand zone....

As I've said before, I'm only a one man show but working on it when I can... which isn't very often.. but I am getting close... :) (and yes curved)
