While I am not bashing golfers I just never really got into trying to hit that little ball 275 yards into a hole the size of a cup. My dad was an avid golfer in fact pretty much his only interest outside of work. I caddied for a summer which solidified my lack of exuberance with the game.
Today I get this Costco add and thought geez. If I had that much money to throw at that thing I”d be getting my 340 rebuilt lol and buy lots of tools! The difference between a gear head and a golfer I guess.

For twelve grand, I would re-join the local golf club and buy my own cart to use....and still have enough change for all the balls I would lose.

Golf is a pointless game in my opinion. I also know some avid golfers, but I'm with you, I see that money as parts and maintenance on my old cars.

Most golfers throw Hissy fits and drink alot. They wannabe the next Tiger Woods. Wack phuk , the throw the stick away. :D

Best thing at the golf course is the nineteenth hole... And I don't drink.......

I am in favor though of outdoor ball washing machines.....

Bowling .... that's my go to sport, no matter how bad you screw up the ball comes back to you.
AC when it's hot, Heat when its cold.
Raise you hand and make a circle motion and cold beer appears.
Bowling is the perfect sport.

I prefer to wash my balls indoors.
I played a small country course a few years back, and they had just weed-sprayed the fairways and greens.

The small sign at the first tee said "Do not lick yours balls" :D

Referring to the fact that many golfers either lick or spit on their balls in order to clean them easier.

If I could lick my own balls, I would have never married.

Agree, bowling is my sport. I tried golfing once, shot a 69 my first time out.

But it got dark after three holes, so i quit.

:rofl::rofl: I played semi-serious nearly every weekend for about 5 years....best I shot was 80 on our local Par-69 course. That was part of an Easter tournament that I eventually won by a whopping 13 shots, and it severely hurt my handicap. :D

Been there, done that, sorta....
At the time, i was a 175 ave bowler (now a deuce) but the first week of league i had a great shot, and put up a 630 series.
It took me eight more weeks before i made average again after my handicap became more realistic. I think we lost three out of four games for two months.
I wont do that again!

Nice replies GUYS!
Golf is addictive, believe it or NOT.
Before my Mopar days I played A LOT of FLOG!:hitit::bananahit:
My bruv was a golf-pro and I was hacking around in his wake...
He said ''it was my 100-plus score rounds, that ruined his game''!!!:drama:
Pompous GIT, thats a golfer through and through, always blaming someone else for their crap round...:mob:

What about my feelings...:hifu:

I can see no reason why not being able to do both
I have very successfully

that sim is a bit much

just go out & play, nothing like the real thing

some don't have 300+ days of sunshine like we do here

people that suck at golf or some sort of grievances or bad pairings
always seem to talk **** too
or really bad sports, club throwers

I've played with some real douches
but I'm actually a good golfer
not some hack, that thinks it's an easy game

the best part of GOLF is the drink cart ladies
well where I play anyway

Golf and bowling are similar. You change your shoes and play with your balls.

Golf is the game one loves to hate.

I respectfully wish to disagree....but no Red X will be given. :)

It is a selfish sport ...yes.....just like a Corvette is a selfish car. :D
You play against yourself always. I played for exercise and company on the course....never really got good enough to be a serious contender. The 19th hole was always good for me. :drinks:
