Espo's or General Spring Leaf Springs

I'm interested in the opinion of people who have experience with these 2 companies products. I'm putting an 8 3/4 rear in my 73 Roadrunner and want to replace springs at the same time. I'm really interested in Espo's because I've read a lot of good things about them. MY problem is I contacted them and it's 5- 6 weeks to ship springs. The pricing is basically the same at both places so cost isn't really a factor. Honestly if the Espo's are that much better I'll wait the 6 weeks with shipping to get them even though my car will be sitting until then. If they are basically the same I'll buy whatever is at my door faster.

I don't know if one is better than the other, but I'm very happy with my Espos. I ordered them made to stock specs for my Satellite. They were great to work with, too.

I looked them up they are more than double the cost of Espo's. A single spring is more than the pair from Espo's but maybe they are superior.

I have ESPO springs on my wagon. Great product, great customer service. Would I buy them again? Mmmmm.....maybe not.

In all fairness the springs have been on my wagon for almost 20(!) years but in that time they've gone from 1" over stock to 1" (or more) under stock. My wagon has been sitting parked (not driven) for half that time and for the brief time I actually drove it, I never loaded the car down.

Yeah, nothing lasts forever, but they leveled out about 6 years in and have been working their way down since. I put coil over shocks on it to help about a year before I parked it, so it may have settled more than I realize because of these shocks.

Just for comparison, the original springs were so bad, the ESPO 1" over springs actually raised the car about 5". The bottom of the trailer hitch ball was worn down considerably!

Way back when I bought mine, I forget the exact time given for shipping but I got them earlier than expected.

It might surprise you where some folks get their springs from....
Due diligence is advised here.

I bought a set of Espos on my 67. Never heard of the other company. Espos have been on the car for 3 years now and it sits at the same height that it did when installed.

The ESPO's that came on my Satellite worked great. Made a mistake swapping them for a set of Mopar SS springs I had. The ESPO's handled the torque & power of a 500" 440 very well. The Eaton Detroit are really spendy, may be good but cost a ton.
