Just asking for some opinions, and yes.. I understand about all the body parts and yes it is my car, do as I like! The project is one in a long line of cars since mid 80's, and all my keepers always have seemed to find loving homes elsewhere. And I am old enough to say, this IS A KEEPER!!! Lets hope!
The car is an X home for rodent and critters small and larger. 64 Savoy, originally slant, 3 on tree, white with red bench, Heater delete car. It had sat since mid 80,s and pretty solid body except floors and nose of hood. The interior was demolished, nothing but springs left to the seats. I got it 95 rady for more primer and blocking.
I build a couple of 64 Savoys way back in mid 90's, slants that got 440s and 4 speeds and were some of my favorite builds, just street driven mild hotrods. I liked them more than any "rare"
model I had , be it 70 Hemi Cuda, AAR Cuda, 440 68 Charger RT, etc. But they went away I hate to say.
This Savoy will get some form of B or RB motor, 4 speed, and Jeep A100 style seats, no back seat, sort of a SS version wanna be sorta! I hope I just make myself make it a keeper for the rest of my days, and when to kick the can, the heirs can do what ever. But some how someone always prys them out of my hands sooner or later.
I am trying to decide if to keep it the original white with red interior. I would have MAYBE have to dye the seats red or maroon, but done that many times. Door panels will either come from Gary Ball or me or someone just make them. I have tinker with the idea of black seats and carpet and red/maroon dash, and red/maroon door panels.
I have a white 62 Dart and wife loves blue. I have thought of a 64 med blue for her tastes. Just how many white Mopars do I need. She has a blue RoadToad already.
I know the number guys will say keep it original right down the slant!
I figure since I am changing it all over anyway, color is just tastes.
All comments are appreciated and valued.

Personally I really like the medium blue they had on 64's. Think that would 'pop' more than white.

Looks like it'll be a nice car!

Being a Slanter myself, and like you have had just about everything Ma Mopar offered, it's hard to say what direction to go in.
I am a fan of red interior with a white body paint.Lots of 'um were that color along with blue/blue or white body
/blue interior. So lets try this one, burnt orange body/black interior. Hardly ever see black interior in a 60's Savoy.Right now my 63 hardtop project is silver/grey with red interior.I hope to finish it someday.Today while walking my dog a new Charger rumbled past and the copper-burnt orange color really said something to me.My thought was "Nice that would look good on a early "B".
I have serious thoughts of pulling the Hemi drivetrain out of my 65 and doing a Slant/PS/PB and A/C.I may drive it more.
There ya go barbee, my 2 cents thought for the day !!

That's a serious change, of course 2 to 2 and 1/2 times the fuel mileage would entice you to drive it more.
I really like my mint green with red interior 62 Dart. Also a pastel blue with dark blue interior would suit me to.

My 64 hardtop is going black with red interior. I like that combo because of all the trim on the black really pops. If you are going that plain Jane SS look (which I love by the way) consider the factory mid-grey with red interior (looks like a light pewter). I debated a long time on this grey with red interior. It’s an awesome color.

Since all comments will be appreciated and valued, keep the slant 6!
I admit I have had quite a few slants, great engines for what they are, only slant that will remain here is wife's 62 Lancer, with 3 in the floor. I could possibly drop a slant in the 50 Dodge if the flathead proves to be junk!

Ya can go crazy picking the color as there's many-many I like equally across the spectrum. With my '63 Fury, it has a red interior and original color was white, white top (vert). Last minute at the body shop, as I was going to have it stay white; but my brother talked me into thinking a different color. Being a Fury having the red body trim, I went with gray/red scheme picking out a later Chrysler gray that set well with the red. Must have looked at 150 gray paint chips picking out the shade! Have gotten many complements at shows with the red trim set against the gray. My 2 pennies...

The hemi orange was the rage in the early B bodies some years ago. Last time I had such, wife asked please NO more orange! But I agree, burnt orange is very pretty. Only had one, a 70 GTX. I have always stayed with a factory color and usually for that model year. I have a more door Belvedere that I did a custom 2 tone on, first time for that. Anniversary gold below the body line, white above with 1/4 in black pen stripe dividing. I admit I like it on that car.
Yes I appreciate all thoughts on this matter!!!! Always interesting to hear opinions!

We also have a 62 Dart 330 MORE door though. It was originally black.... BUT I have had a few black cars, so beautiful but never can ever be clean! Never again! I painted it white and thats as far as it has come. It was a slant 3 on tree car also. I have a SB I can put back in or the slant, not sure yet. People still want it for a parts car!!! ha

That is beautiful also! Back about 2002 I bought a 68 GTX original silver with the red/maroon interior. The original owner was from Ca and moved to Mo where I got it. He built it with a MW top on a 440, very striking car and rare color scheme for that year and model. It had been cover car on CarCraft of something way back.
I had way back a 64 Savoy that was originally a turkey turd tan, so plain but looked so good with new paint!

Yeah - there's so many colors I like, blues, greens, reds, whites, name it...black is real neat; but shows every spec of dust, especially as I live in farm country. My Plymouth gets a coat of dust on it just sitting in the garage for a few hours if I don't cover it. Anyway, let us know what you decide and good luck!

Yes we live in the sticks right now tree pollen is Hell! Plus the normal dust. More dirt (sand) than grass too! I agree with the color thing all colors look good when fresh shiny paint!!!

The white and beige were popular back then but personally I think those cars look better in a medium blue. I had a 1 owner slant, 3 speed. I ended up selling it because I didn't have the heart to cut a hole in the mint floor for a shifter and would have felt bad swapping in a big block, believe it or not 20 years later I'd do the swap in a heartbeat. I don't like slow cars.

The first Mopar I drove was a 64 Sport Fury, white with the red/white interior. 1965. She let me and a girl use it to pull her horse trailer!

Thanks for the input from all! I admit I love so many of those OEM colors from back then. I have always been sort of a "day 2" guy but I have got a little more away from the number crunching thing is my old age. I keep thinking of the original white with a combo of red/maroon interior!
I also love that med blue of '64 too!
The worse part of buildng these old Mopars here is finding a decent and affordable big block.
I might stick a slant back in that 62 Dart 330!
