Respect is earned
A lot of people don’t know what dignity and self respect and respect for others is
They are jealous and are going to cry until they get some
But it just doesn’t work that way

Earned is no longer acceptable, EQUITY is now what is used to put people UNABLE to earn it in charge

As far as what they're calling Microinsults :upyours: and can someone explain why the RED X to AR67GTX's statement. He was pretty much spot on.
I guess his "left" is showing. Maybe he will explain. Oops my "right" is showing. :)

I'd refuse the training, sorry just can't do it. When are people going to stand up and say NO, this **** is unbelievable!

Where is all of this taking place, just curious because I haven't seen or heard of anything like this in my area?

I have work stories. This has been going on for years. Have to wait to tell them. This is just more in your face or in writing now.

Move it, don't trash it as mine was. Looking at all the posts it hasn't gotten political yet, but to your defense it could.

I usually don’t even bother saying anything to co workers anymore. I figure if you don’t say anything you can’t cause anything but then if I’m too quiet thats also a problem lol can’t win.
Just a car guy let me be

Morals and virtues seem to be scarce and the cost to continue our own enslavement continues to rise through these ridiculous initiatives as we seek the end prize of retirement/401K as the "carrot".

Are we sovereigns or slaves? No need to answer, that's a question for each of us individually.

Truth ruins the construct of lies.

I grew up in Atlanta in the 60's and 70's. Yes, in the south. Yes, during the times of all manner
of unrest and such, including forced busing and all that.
Thing was, in our working class neighborhood on the south side of town, you wouldn't have
known it. I had nearly as many black friends as I had white; the neighborhood was quite
"integrated". We just never thought about race much, except for February (black history
month) of course...
In my school, they had all sorts of cool extra study materials (I recall one program in particular
that was really in-depth and quite informative) on black history and I really liked doing all of it,
to the point where I was the most-noted student participant in the program (and quite white).
I learned all about Harriet Tubman, George Washington Carver, Booker T Washington....

Again, us kids didn't know any better than to harbor any ill will against other races.
Heck, we didn't SEE other races...we just saw other kids.

It wasn't until the mid-70's, when I had my first year at "the big school" (in those days, elementary
school was K-7 and high school was 8-12) that I first was exposed to any sort of hatred towards
another, based on race.
They were busing kids from the roughest parts of downtown into our neighborhood (as you may
recall, the social experiment then was that kids down there were worse in school because of the
schools themselves, so shipping them off to "better" schools would help straighten them up, right?).
Turned out, not so much....turned out, the school itself had little to do with it.
What DID come of all that? Common teenage criminals, shipped into neighborhoods without issues
and terrorizing the naive neighborhood kids, easy victims that we were.
I actually started carrying a knife to school out of defense - once you've seen your friend hung out
a 2nd story window over lunch money, you do what you need to.
To a person, those evil little bastards spent all their time terrorizing others, running their mouths
with all sorts of racial slurs against the white kids (and the "Uncle Tom" black kids in our midst).

Yeah, my first exposure to racial crap, in the deep south mind you, wasn't from some expected
redneck upbringing of hatred towards blacks - it was just the opposite, and just as shocking to a
kid - and those hoodlums had instead been raised by THEIR parents to be that way.

Sort of reminds me of what's going on now, come to think of it....

When the Air Force started slamming sexual assault training, that was a major joke! A lot of the guys in my class didn't take it seriously, neither did I for that matter. The teacher was getting pissed because "she" couldn't control the class. I don't think we got much out of it! Don't get me started on the Suicide training that was forced down our throat's with what seemed like every other month of that crap!
It's to the point now where you can't even say "Good Morning" to someone at work without getting into trouble!

What you forgot to say is the HORROR the white kids had to deal with that were bused TO the Ghetto so the "people" who lived there ( who are responsible for MAKING it what it is) could inflict there HATE on them.... Horrible stories from some of my friends

As for an above post by a SSI goes...Utopian BS at its best. Never happens regardless of intentions. All this "sensitivity training crap" goes, it is way too over blown and regurgitated by Socialist Quacks and nut jobs. Gestalt Touchy Feely, I'm OK you're OK nonsense taught by anyone that can open their mouths and insert their foot. I will never bow down to this nonsense. Even though my years of it to just sign off a "square" as being completed, in my Military Career, I never took it from the class room out and about. I will always say what I feel and feel what I say. I just don't give a damn anymore...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

When I was in high school, there were only 2 blacks in the whole school. Never heard of any problems anywhere. When I applied to a big company for a job, it took 5 years of waiting before I got interviewed. Out of 12 people in HR , 11 were black and of mixed sexes. While I waited for my turn I leafed through 3 big loose leaf books sitting on the table. One for how many Women were there and at what level, one for Blacks the same way and one for Hispanics. I eventually got the job and a year later ended up as a token white guy on an all black shift. I never had a problem and got along just fine. That particular job was not one I cared for as so when another job came up I put in for it and got on a mixed racial shift. There were never any racial or sexual issues, ever. Then in the early 90's we had some required training, something like was described by Ed. What came out of it was sort of like the following (printed) on paper as well: Just because a person is more qualified, has a better education, more skills, more experience, and a better work record, and a good attitude, doesn't necessarily mean that they are the most promotable! All I can say is before that kind of push started and even afterword, it never changed the way we got along and we always did. In fact , I heard through the grape vine that some minorities did not like it either. Sometimes after work we'd all go to a GoGo bar and drink. Again, no problems. I got along so well with some black guys that I would do anything I could to help them out and the reverse was also true. Hell we used to tell jokes, trade food recipes and booze suggestions and all kinds of stuff. From my perspective, if it isn't in you to treat everyone the same, any amount of attempted brain washing ain't gonna work! All that some of this stuff is doing is alienating people from one another. Forced participation just doesn't work! :screwy:
