Both of my parents worked at the Chrysler Highland Park headquarters facility. Chrysler had these perpetual Calendars made to be given out to various employees. I thought you guys might be interested in this interesting piece of history

That would be such a cool thing to have!! I want one :)
But I wonder why it starts at 1962 when the first turbine car tests began in 1954?

These were made specifically for the 1963 turbine car, Not for Chrysler’s overall turbine experiments

Years ago, my wife and I were at a shopping mall in Burlington, Ontario. In the main concourse, there was a jewellery and knick-knack flea market going on, with many vendors. While my wife was looking at some of the jewellery, I discovered one of those calendars exactly like yours. I bought it for $15.00. It was likely the only auto-related piece in the whole flea market, and it called to me!

I also have a colour brochure for the 1963 Turbine Car I wondered if these items were given out to familes who were chosen to test drive the cars for a period of time?

My wife and her brothers and sister in the Chrysler Turbine car at the Chrysler Pavilion at the 1965 New York World's Fair!

How many of you guys remember that a Chrysler turbine car appeared in the movie The Lively Set?
I remember that, the car was painted white with racing numbers on it if I remember correctly! If you want to watch a real sad movie about the Turbine cars, watch the video of them being destroyed and crushed! It's really hard to watch.

If I remember correctly about the race at the end of the movie, which is on regular roads, one of the reasons the turbine car wins is because of higher ground clearance due to no oil pan. Some parts of the road were very bumpy and the other car had to slow down. That seemed to me a pretty crummy reason to end up winning the race.
