About to install valve covers on a hemi and wonder if it’s a good idea to blue loctite the studs in the heads.

Yes, that should be fine. Don't use red 271 though. You have to heat to remove easily.

I use 242 (blue) on mine. Just did a set.

I just did this maybe 6 weeks ago.

I used the white locktight.
When i open it up again next year. I will know how well it worked
