CHALLENGER HELLCAT FLIPS TRUCK OVER LEAVING CARS AND COFFEE!

Ouch! I thought mustangs were always the problem clearly incompetence is the issue.

First thought: wow, so many folks rush in to assist. Then I notice most just need a good angle for their smartphone...

There's already a thread on here someplace about this...
but anyways, what strikes me right away about this scene are all the gawkers and idiots
with cell phones standing around like zombies, not helping - but not getting the hell out
of the way, either.

Oh, the driver of the Hellcat? Public beating seems in order there.

Stupid to act like an idiot in front of people you not only do not know, but will likely never see again. So what if your car can shred tires.

Ouch! I thought mustangs were always the problem clearly incompetence is the issue.
Oh, make no mistake - the short wheelbase of the Mustangs, when coupled with serious HP and
tight suspension, makes for a car that's easy to lose control of, especially in a relatively young
and experienced drivers' hands.
I always thought my stock 5.0 from 1989 had just about the right amount of power for the body
and suspension it came with. It was a blast to beat on (it always reminded me of what Mopar
SHOULD have been building back then) but you'd have to do something really stupid to lose it.

What you are witnessing is the fodder that will be used to "detune" (aka neuter) the performance car market. It happened back in the day when the insurance companies made it too expensive to have a performance car and the Gov't made it impossible to meet EPA and DOT regs. The public has always wanted cars like this even when most will never own one, because it represents hope and something to reach for/dream about. But idiots like this are providing the proof that will be used to get rid of them

I said it in the other thread with this video too

:drama: same exact thing RC said;

low-performance drivers in a high-performance car

A man has to know his limitations, clearly his is about 180 HP.

And its also the end of that get together because of his stupidity. fortunately, there are many car get togethers and shows around here all summer long. I doubt that guy will show his face for a while, I have seen him at many shows and recognize the car. Not to far from here!

I wonder if anybody would like to hazard a guess as to what type of punishment the HC driver would face? I am not that familiar with US laws, but I would think he would do some jail time for that? Thoughts?

Careless and 6 points in Canada. $500 to $2000 fine. If you don't have a full G license and are still a G1 or G2 automatic licence suspension..
