Spare tire hold down

On my 69 charger that is going back together. Question is on the spare tire hold down stud/bolt. For some reason I have two in my bag and not sure which one is right. One is about 7 1/2 inches overall with 5 inches of thread and the other is 9 inches overall with 3 inches of thread. I would rather install the right one. Thanks.

If you are using wider than stock tires the original might not work.

I second, "...use the one that fits & looks the best"
