I got a '65 413 and was going to adapt a AH42 to it with an Ultra Bell but they don't know when they'll be back in stock so I was looking different avenues. A 727 would be the next choice, both will be going in my '63 D100, (yes not a b body but you guys are good) so anything will fit as the straight axle is getting swapped out. I found a 833 local for a good deal but what's the odds of finding a good used clutch set up. What size flywheel, clutch disc and center hole bell do I look for. Anyone have a set up for sale, 6 bolt crank.

First you need to measure the size of your input bearing retainer. They made 3 sizes 4.35, 4.81 and 5.125. The 4.81 was big block after 68. I think before was 4.35 in cars?? Trucks were 5.125. You can buy new inputs or rings to change size. Flywheel and clutch size depends on the bell house. Either 143 tooth flywheel and 11 inch clutch or 130 tooth and 10 1/2 inch clutch.

Depends on the year of the transmission for the bell housing, but not a big deal you can swap the Bearing retainer to match the hole. I am doing a 833 conversion right now in my 64 Savoy. So If I can be of any help with that choice let me know. I have a list of everything you need to do the job. I had zero parts when I started the search and have $3700.oo in the complete Job, with used parts to new ones. I of course did all the labor myself. I do not know if that is a good price or not but I was more intrested in obtaining the parts than the cheapest. Even then it took me 6 months. Just to let you know If you decide on a auto I also have everything you would need for that direction also. Transmisson, Cables, Shift Box, Push Buttons and Bezel. Good luck with the job and choice. P.S. Lots of help from the Guys and Gals on this site.

Good info, thank you.....the trans according to Brewers is a '75/'76 F body and has the rear tail shaft shifter location.
