Wouldn't be so bad if I had two good arms. Left one is toast thanks to pushing a soccer mom out of a snow bank and blowing my bicep muscle off my elbow 4 years back. I have about 45% use compared to days of old..

Oh man. Nearly 2 years ago I was going to help this guy pick up a large box of parts. The box was about 2x2 and 4 foot tall and not really that heavy....mostly bulky. The other guy is somewhat an ox and only 48 at the time. He lifted it quickly and I wasn't and took the load and pulled a muscle in my right arm which took 6 months to feel good again. Can only imagine your pain. I quit doing the jerk and clean moves a long time ago and am really vocal on how fast I'm going to move when I'm about to help someone move or pick something up. Getting old sucks!!
 
Went to work. Got home and dug two holes in the ground...what is this stuff?...a thick layer of something that resembles sand...then a layer of black something (not soil? not clay), then a layer of goo/clay. Mixed in real topsoil from Lowes and planted two very stressed Hopi Crape Myrtles...watered and mulched. This makes 7 crape myrtles plantings. I'm done I think? Finished planting 7 shagbark hickory trees several weeks ago. They're doing well.

Today, spread lots of insecticide on the lawn along with fire ant killer.

I will refrain from telling you of my experience doing work in a KK kitchen....not pretty,,..
 
Finally got back to work on the living room project after a much needed break. Foyer is all done except trim, we chose real slate for tile.
