Thank you for helping me decode this. w1 is alpine white exterior paint right? So why did they stamp it on there back to back?

hi, ok bare with me I'm new to this lol.so you are talking about the top/roof, or is it the part from the top of the door down to the lowest body line just above the rockers? you know how some are painted black across the bottom but instead its w1 white also?
Some cars had a roof that was painted a different color than the body. Where a vinyl top would cover was painted instead. Your whole car was painted white, so that is your second W1.
