Original column and test paint of Herbs 1177 It’s not as light as the picture shows because of the lighting, but there is a big difference.
I had some issues with a color match for my Plymouth (red) that worked great for my modified console (leather). I ordered interior vert panels (fiberglass) in the same color that the company that painted them came out like crap. The match was way off. I contacted them and they said they used the same paint crimson red OEM color. After a little back & forth, they sent me a can of the paint as I didn't have any left from my project. I scotch-brighted the panels down cutting thru the gloss then repainted them. They came out 'better' but still off. I think I needed to apply more coats (I did two). The surface prep is a big deal (as guys who know painting will say). Could be I still need to do more on this or more coating.
Looking at your photos though seems the match is considerably off - you don't have the right shade. I'd contact Herb's on this or the supplier you used. Review the color chart to see if there's a color match...

Thanks. That is a big difference. Steering column was painted with that bright blue as well so I have little reference...just does not look right.
Yeah this was done before I bought the care, and as I understand it that previous owner is deceased. It is just way too bright, have no idea what it actually was.

I'm not sure what you are working on, but if it's a Plymouth the chart below should help. When I did my RR I bought two different paints from Chaz Dallas @ 8774paint1.com. My dash frame, steering column, & ash tray are painted a textured, suede B7. The actual color name is Baltic Blue. My plastic trim pieces are also Baltic Blue, but in non-textured finish. I got them in quarts, but he can also supply in a rattle can.

what color are your plastic pillar covers?
Haven't painted them yet. Will go with the Herb's- can't remember number but when I go back to shop I will try to think to post. I have painted a couple of parts and they look right.
